I understand that fog light can blind on-coming drivers in some cases but the law does not forbid them competely...so the line of "being able to use the fog lights legally" and "illegally using the fog lights" become very grey. A fog light is used obviously when there is a fog and poor visiblity situations but how does one justify if their situation is of poor visiblity or not?

Thats the biggest crock of sh*t I have heard from the police this month....surely how can they justify as to what conditions are you allowed fog light or not...

Ive been looking on Trademe at some of the Euro-Style exhausts... I saw this one... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=129239053 Would this fit a the E36 without going to replace the whole exhaust system? As well as the inlet, is BMW 2" or 2.5"? Most of all, if the fitment is possible where would I want to get it done or is there other places which I could go and get something like this done for hopefully under $300. Cheers...

very cynical comments...haha...

Possible to get a full body kit for E36 Sedan?

IIRC he mentioned 5 speed auto? I think isnt it only 4 speed auto gearboxes for E36?

Q "Hi There, where are the adjustable bolsters on the "sport seats"?" A "Is this a question or a statement?" hahahaha.... Motorsport options including leather sports seats, trip computer air cond, electric windows and sunroof, Alpina Martini decals, leather steering wheel and gear knob, totally original with black powder-coated painted wheels, good tyres.

-
Hey bro...you got the connections to get my a plate like yours? (as in the BMW logo on the right part of the plate?)
-
haahahaha...thats a good one...but those guys dont have tastes for fine cars like BMW anyways...they prefer the subies...with cut springs so they can do drive bys at a lower height...
-
Bro...tell me when the car is all set and ready...and Ill pop over and have a good look at it

Looks "tidy" but might just be the photos. The front sure looks "dodgy" and the I would have question on the rims...do I see paint on the tires too?

I am a student, but lets just put it as the "family car" where everyone can drive it except my sister purely on the basis that she cant drive at all. The price was in the low 40K range as the car has already clocked 40K on the clock. Overall, the body and interior are in near mint condition except a few little stone chip marks. Had a few little options which was nice. I have not driven the 2.2L long enough to give you the good and bad yet but as a first impression, I am very impressed. It is only 2.2L I know but the 170hp does pull the Z4 chassis quite well. The sound is great and if you drive manual or switch it to tiptronic, there is massive torque in the mid rev ranges but do give me more driving time before I can give you a concluded opinion.

Where in North Shore if you remember? Yes we did sell our E38...and scary thing it might have been 5 or 6 years ago in fact...but it was a 730i.
-
Sorry maybe when I meant lowering cars, I should have been more accurate as in "lowering my 318i" because at the moment there is a massive gap in the front wheel arches, I could nearly shove a whole head into it!

Thanks for that insight which I did not seem to realise until you said...but it sure does!

I should say that the summer mood surely made the wallet come loose a little...It was something different for a change.

2005 2.2L=170hp The price difference between 2.5L and 2.2L was quite a bit but considering the power output of only a mere 10hp additional on the 2.5L, it was quite obvious that the 2.2L was more "value for money". Take fuel cost into consideration, it made even more sense. This 2.2L was optioned out with pretty nice stuffs which made an even more incentive to get hold of this car.
