FOR SALE H&R BMW E36 SUSPENSION KIT
international replied to SUSPENSION's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Would you have some more details on this set? I would be seriously interested...do you do installations? -
Hmmm heaps of aspects to consider...I love the current handling and everything, its just the suspeion could be a bit harder and maybe eliminate that uplift problem as much as possible, would wider tires do the trick? When I am planning to put on some 18" later this year, maybe a set of hubs for the rear to even increase the width even more? Im running the standard 205/60/15...so maybe with some 235/40/18 and maybe a slight hub on the rear, that should be wide enough to overcome this problem without playing too much on the sway bars? I hate understeer lol...
-
Do you mean possibly changing the current font of the stickers?
-
I love it...nice ride you got there...

One of the things that I have experienced in driving the twisty roads of North Shore, when going around a corner aggressively, sometimes I feel as if the rear wheel of the inside corner is off the ground for a split second...would sway bars mend this issue or simply harder shocks?
-
Its like a down hill one and my neighbours drive way has a different height to mine with a massive gap, so its easier said than done lol...
-
Nor would shocks? lol... Im looking to replace/upgrade a few things later this year with a stiffer suspension setup, replace front brake discs with Bembro OEM and change the rear drum brakes to discs from a another E36...hopefully those modifications should bring out the true potential of the car.
-
Would that lower the ride height? or is that only through springs? Ill have a look at the those options...thanks
-
Thanks for the advice Gus, will get onto that...cheers

I have a E36 318i fully stock standard...I want a stiffer ride without going any lower on the suspension because of my driveway, anything lower than the stock height will mean that I would be having to scrape it everytime I leave and come home. Is there any options out there? Do I simply change to stiffer springs? or shocks? Thanks for the advice...

Im mostly chinese (by blood)...when you say "99" in chinese, it sounds like "forever" in chinese...its a bit like "sun" and "son" in english...

-
hey Jimbo, awesome SLK...Love your user signature...nice cars you have their...with phat as rims...
-
I usually hit the 98 at the pumps, in most cases, BP or Shell... If you really loved your gf, you would give her 100 roses at valentines, not 99...the same goes with my BMW...if you really love your car, only the best will do...
-
yea bro...the interior looks new...no wrinkles on the leather...
-
It looks quite "plastic" lol on the rims...not my cup of tea in terms of the wheel selections lol... BTW btccm, I think I saw your car a few days ago around the Forrest Hill area? North Shore? I was pretty sure because the car colour was the same, so was the kit and those very attractive rims, I couldnt see the rear of your car as I was driving so didnt see the M3 badge...if that was your car...damn sweet ride
-
Body looks good...like the kit...
