They come in dark brown IIRC....

Just had 18s on mine... Dont go anything larger than 18X7.5 with 225/40/18 on the front....at that measurement, there is no plastic rubbing at all. Anything larger than that, there would be rubbing on the inner guards. I know because I just got this size all round, and it merely misses the plastic inner guards on the inside at full steering. There is heaps more room on the back if unlowered you can go with 235s or even 245s on a 18X8.5 rims. What I have just said is based on an unlowered 318i E36.

I have those rims, the 2nd option ones....The standard nuts aint fit because they need special nuts and are whats known as a thinner nuts, and they are obviously thinner and you need a special tool to bolt on the nuts. When I got the mags, they didnt come with the nuts, I went to several tire stores including FireStone Direct asking for this kind of nut, the only place I found that sold them (but didnt have stock) was Mag and Turbo. I was charged $8.5 each which meant I paid $170 for nuts!. It was expensive but worth it I thought for as I saved heaps with the tires. The wheels are great, so far its been attraction pulling...It turns heads at the fuel pumps which was awesome...Build quality is good, but not excellent, but what I would call bang for buck. If you dont mind the extra costs in nuts and the extra efforts to put them on, I would go with the second option or ask to have the nuts included in the price...you may be lucky.... The 2nd option has that German Tuner look where as the 1st option is pretty much a Volks TE37 style, pretty Jap...but both look nice, its just a matter of doing some photoshopping to see which one turns out better. My advice to you is to buy rims of all of the same width. Some people sell 7.5s front and 8.5" rears though this might look good and stuff, you wont be able to flip the wheels around when the time comes. Thus it is more logical to have the wheels of the same size so when it comes to switching them around, you wont have a problem. Just my 2 Centz...Happy buying

Go with the first option....the 2nd option will cost you more with the nuts...I was charged over $8 each per nut which ended up nearly $200 alone in nuts...go with the first option!

You can wait when Mag and Turbo have their sales of mags which also come with free Kings Springs deal or you can opt about $500 to get just the springs done at either Mag and Turbo or Mag Wheel House with either King or Dobi springs. On the other hand, you can search on TM for Jamex SuperLow springs for about $200 and have them fitted. Another option is to get your standard springs compressed but I was told you usually find you well paying just as much for aftermarket springs. You can cut those springs yourself if you are stupid enough or you can run desprung...like some of the members around here...aka the SLABs!

Thank God, for the first complement...so far my mum and sister have hated them...purely because they were black...I dont understand why we must judge on colour in todays society... Hopefully the rear will look the deal when I get some of that Euro Styled exhausts... PitStop quoted $370 fitted MagWarehouse quoted $250 fitted both of the same style...

I can be pretty sure that this is one of the best E30s in the country...it certainly has the credentials from my point of view. Good luck with the car in the future! oh and your eyes!

Got any cheaper strunt bars for E36? $250 blows my budget a little...

Went through so much trouble, I had some major nut problems, but all solved after I spent nearly $200 on nuts alone...that was nuts! Needs lowering for sure...anyone know where to get BMWs lowered at a good price around North Shore area? Thanks!
