Purchased years ago. I had two E30 cabs at the time. Replaced the seals on one. The other was written off. Genuine BMW. Think they were about $160 a piece years ago. But because E30's are now so expensive, I guess I can now charge whatever?!?! If you have a use for them, $150 for both. Surely that's fair for you fancy E30 buggers. Though i doubt these will now ever see rain to keep out anyway. Pick up in Ponsonby. Good lock-down project.

Hello Bimmersport Community Looking to purchase a 540i, prefer E34 but will by all means look at E39's. I'd like to say it has to be manual but a sharp looking auto may well do. I looked at a number last year but wasn't 100% in a position to make a move where I now am. Appreciate any that may have vehicles to offer but I am aware they're thin on the ground and pretty tightly held onto. Cheers, Thornton

but what's it like on gas?

I have somewhat of a theory on this. Car dealers, or dealers of any nature that have been around a long time are using the internet, but in the wrong way. Many years ago, when cars were bought off of yards, you could get away with having vehicles for a long time. If we didnt have trademe, forums etc, we would have no way of knowing that vehicle had been on that yard for all these years, then when you drove through Palmy, heaven forbid, you may see the vehicle, feel you've found a good one and the only reason its still for sale is the fact you need to be out there looking. Now, dealers put these cars on the internet, and still work off the old way of doing things. They have no idea that forums etc talk about these things, they may not even know what a forum is, and those in the know, which is the market for these cars, all talk between themselves and come to the conclusions above. It's a bit of a headache but it seems what happens from what I've observed. Same reason prices have gone up, as local markets now no longer exist, as buyers all over the country, even outside, have access to all vehicles for sale.

Had cambelt changed and head work done at about 140kms, misprint its now at 151kms. New rear brake rotors. No cracks in dash board, has A/C looked over and was just regassed ($$$) and works bloody well. All electrics work. Interior has no rips or tears in fabric but wear on steering wheel and gear knob for 27 years of use. Factory stereo, hasn't been replaced. Looking for $9,000 ono with hardtop!

My 325i is now for sale. 1987 Kiwi new convertible. I had wanted an E30 convertible for years then finally found the right one for me. Completely original condition, not resprayed, not an import, Genuine NZ new and kept true. 147kms interior is pretty tidy, general wear for 27 years of use. Has the factory hard top. Has been my daily driver for 3 years, however it's time for someone else to enjoy. Best to come and have a look. No real price guide, it'll suit someone like myself who WANTS an E30 convertible and knows what it's worth in it's original condition. Easiest to PM me and get in touch from there. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies guys. Next step. WTD: Pre facelift towbar!!!
-
Yeah looking for a pre-facelift. Not worried about the job, just need to know if a towbar off an e30 will fit mine. Thanks

Quick question. Will towbars currently on e30 sedans or coupes fit a convertible. Seems like some are the bumper type towbars. Anyone know how much these bumper type ones can take? Looking at towing a 4 metre inflatable boat. Thanks
