  1. That looks like an absolute minter, hope all goes well .
  2. Personally I think the government or something should build a strip for the boyracers to go to (perhaps even open up meremere or something) and charge a small fee to go, get them off the street etc. I'm sure that'd help substantially. And now I bet you're all thinking, well who pays for this? To be honest, I don't know , but it's an idea...hell, i'd rather pay x amount of money than get in trouble with the cops/upset residential areas if I was a boyracer. Fact of the matter is, these guys are clearly bored and want something to do/somewhere to go and do it. Being a 20 year old, and not into the clubbing scene, there isn't a helluva lot else to do. My 2c.
  3. Yea, I believe Nikasil/Alusil was only a worry in the american market due to the high sulphur content in their fuel. There have been quite a few cheap 540i's on trademe as of late, looked ok in the pics... I would say that maintenance would be cheaper on the 535i however. Considering the m30 has been around for something like 30years?? An air flow meter for my M60 would've cost me about $1200 direct from Bosch, thankfully Glenn was able to give me a nice discount. Something to keep in mind. *edit* http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_M60 yes, mainly in the states.
  4. I'm getting about 13L/100km with about 60% motorway 40% city according to my trip meter, I havn't done a proper consumption test yet. A part of me suspects that is incorrect though. That's with the occasional blat, using 98 octane. 93 540i Auto.
  5. Isn't 90kg a bit high? but regardless, yea, it'd be to offset weight of driver I reckon.
  6. Did the 2.5L come in m30?
  7. I believe 323e30 is bringing some stuff over - http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=16365

    Can't put it better myself.
  20. Hey guys, I intend on replacing the fluid etc on my auto this weekend. From what I can tell, there is no sort of filter to replace and I cannot use dexron (whatever that is according to the manual) and a special oil is required. Just wondering what sort of oil I am supposed to use, and where I can get it from...Glenn maybe? Cheers.
