  1. Spring rates determine how stiff they are. I'd imagine you could change out the springs for stiffer ones?
  2. Last I talked to him, he was getting sick of the stiff bouncy ride and having a lock diff in there tryna Daily it lol. He's to cool for BS these days

    Quick Questions

They are just rubber bushes. I had a spare Sh*t alternator which had mint bushes, Just swapped them over in no time. They slide in / slide out from what I remember. The ones in mine were... Melted? Was weird as.

    Quick Questions

I used to get that, werid as would only happen at night time and stuff. One day it just got real bad. Figured out it was the alternator bushes were stuffed, which made the alternator turn-in as it was tensioned, which was misalignment the belt and makes it squeak. So you may want to check the belt is tight enough, also that the alternator is sitting right when you tension it and not bending in.
  5. Covering cracked dashboards FTW
  6. I had a normal T piece in mine (for vacuum hose), Probably explains why you would push the level to spray and have to wait abit for the water to come. Didn't realize it was actually a valve
  7. Yeah the difference is barely anything. Sometimes even decrease with the m30 AFM. Look around at it, alot of people say it's a waste of time.

    Mint Mk4 Cortina

Cheers, yeah I don't know much about Ford Cortina's and I've never sold a car before, So don't really know what to list down ?? lol ideas would be great..
  9. I thought thst was the one you were talking about. Yes on facelift cars there should be a level sender under that circle cover, on the left side.

For the first time, I find myself agreeing with you Shady.
  11. They're 17.5lbs. No gains on a stock motor what so ever.
  12. I remember reading it on bimmerforums or e30tech or something, Not sure.. Might be completely wrong, wait til someone else chimes in. But I'm pretty sure the level sensors are different between the tanks. The 89 should have a facelift tank, only pre facelifts (pre 88) had a pipe connecting them at the bottem.
  13. Do you have the fuel level sender from a facelift car? The fuel tanks on pre-F/L are different as the fuel tank is seperated into 2 sections, as it goes over the driveshaft, on a pre-fl e30 the 2 sides are joined by a pipe at the bottem, joining them. On a facelift car they are not, they are just joined from a transfer pump which pumps fuel to the other side IIRC, So the fuel level sender will indicate different level overall I think. Sorry if it don't make sense, But I am sure that must have something to do with it, I've read someone having a similar issue before.
  14. Whats the issue? I don't get the first line at all.

    Mint Mk4 Cortina

Bump. Just added some better pics. Alot of watchers on this, Wonder if it will sell
  16. Lol My boss did the same. She quit, had her baby, then about a couple weeks after she started smoking again. Her partner doesn't even know, cos she only casually smokes at work, even comes in on her day offs to have a ciggy. Stupid.
  17. So you finally got rid of it eh.
  18. ^ Hahahaha. And lol to Emily's "stay with a bf".
  19. 2 great looking cars. Have to say I like the silver one better though, The kit makes it look alot better.
  20. Have you done the obvious and checked fuses? Fuse 10 in particular?
  21. I wouldn't want it. Even if it is pretty quick, It's ugly.
  22. CV's don't like skids either. I think I see a pattern ?
  23. There is the front crank wheel. This runs the alternator belt. There is another 2 infront of it, but that part is separate, which runs the other belts. You can take it off. Many times I have put the crank wheel back on without that front bit, which meant taking 6 bolts out and putting that other bit on again. Fuuuu.
  24. No worries. Best wishes from John and the team.
