Sounds like the insurance company coming in late, trying to minimise their exposure. IME the only thing worse than trying to sue some idiot is dealing with his insurance company. Good luck and keep going.

Moving to the next level eh? - multiple projects all semi complete. And still looking for more.......lol.

was going to fit but now selling e30. closing sunday night. Visit My Website
-
yeah, yours were so cheap i nearly bought them even though i had no e30 and 3 sets of e30 wheels already
-
how much for a double ended light sabre? for my kids of course......
-
Nice, I'm thinking also the rear number plate surround, front lip and the mid door trim. Those 14" weaves?
-
Red e30 ,Thinking about painting the lower lip and mid stripe to match body colour, with chrome painted black. Look good on cars with mtech kits, but not sure on on a std 325i. The sills need side skirts I suppose too. Opinions?
-
I was tempted to buy to fix but had too much on the go.....
-
Have some e30 15" weaves, fully refurbed and powerdercoated. never had tyres fitted. looking for $800 no caps.
-
I hope they charged you nothing for fixing nothing. Shame you cant find someone to sort it, at least then you would have a "good / running" m20b20 to sell for ?? like this; http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-612693761.htm

still waiting for Pelican parts to arrive...ordered 30 June now 15 July....bit slower than usual. Must be going through the customs +$400 filter. Decided to look under some tape on the inlet boot and found a gaping hole. Made a temp splice using some plastic ducting from a clothes dryer extract and some adhesive sealant. Engine now running much smoother and have lost the jerk it had when shifting at low throttle.

Yeah i made sure i set the shoe clearance with the star adjuster, not the cables. 2 things i didn't do was grease the side of the shoe where it contacts the hub and make sure the cables were free in the sheaths. Just waiting for another fine day. Will be interested to see if new rotors makes a difference.

downgrage the wifes car and use that cash to pay for it.
-
What was the outcome on the parking brake? i did a diy on mine - new shoes, deglazed the rotor inner, adjusted, and while it passed wof i'm still not happy with it.

Buy my auto for 4500 and convert it. Its a mint SE model model with lots of options you won't get on most e30's. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=610765351

Yep it certainly is buyer beware at pickapart but i guess the same can be said for 2nd hand cars generally. I have had a car that was listed on here with a new WOF checked out only to find illegal suspension, exhaust and a WP about to fail. Since sold on TM in same cond - some people have no qualms. I am not referring to your recent listing. These rims appear straight on both faces with no kerb strikes. I will be getting my tyre guy to check them before they hit the road (with some decent rubber and all balanced)

Interested to hear the outcome of this, my 540 has an earlier 5hp30 and from what i can google a semi synthetic is required, "not dextron" as opposed to your later model where a full synthetic is the go? checked my fluid level tonight and its fine, the oil that spilled out tho' is old and brown looking. Repco have an oil computer in store that shows a suggested fluid for each model. Unfortunately for my e34 it said "refer to dealer"

I wasn't rying to sell them but a "buying question" has been posted. Leave your post there but i think you are supposed to have pics and a price.....?
-
Might be keen to sell, PM me if you are keen.

Maybe you could start your OWN for sale listing then?
