It really does depend on a huge range of variables.Factored into there sell price will have to be things like, Shipping,Bank Fee's,Overheads, % Profit etc etc. They aint in business for love! There is alot more to it than just a peice of plastic that looks like its cost 0.20cents to produce. I no where you are coming from however.

Give it a good cut and polish/general tidy up and you may get between $1500-$2000 at the most.Wheels may appeal to a certain people but to others they may be less desirable. I would't convert it to manual to sell, can't see it paying off

The thing with Australia is that there has never been the huge volumes of 2nd hand Japanese cars like NZ has. The demand for quality 2nd hand cars is high and so prices stay high,hence young people can only afford cheaper and as a result older cars. So I don't think the country is irrelvant.We are very lucky in NZ to be able to buy quality late model cars for very little money. -
