  1. Valve clearances checked within spec
  2. Been trying to get the fuel gauge to read. After much ado, in out in out x who knows, checking with multimeter 10 ohms empty and 269 ohms when full approx but the sender has a mind of it's own. Reads fine when bench tested and fine when first installed but then stops working Going to leave it as is for the moment
  3. Jan meeting 1.21.5 Feb 1.21.6 I knew something was not right in Jan but wanted to confirm last weekend just in case it was one of those days. So by my butt dyno, revs, gear changes and slower top speed at the end of the front straight something not right. The car is now up on the Quickjack, I'm going to start by checking the exhaust to see if there is any leaks (as I have caught it a couple of times on driveway crossings) Let's hope its that simple
  4. Sorry about that Donn, Not sure when I"ll do another playday but it very popular now so book early. You'll really enjoy it
  5. James prior to putting in the extra pump I would get the starvation at approx just under 1/2 a tank So order of business, have a play with the new pump and hopefully get the gauge to work.......... Fill the tank and see how much I used, but like I said 5 sessions without a problem (normally 4 1/2) + 25kms before starting the day. So there is an improvement but not as much as I'd like
  6. Cheers Darren, Met yourself, Hans and there was another BS member I had a chat with but I've forgot his name (old age) sorry. The first 5 cars in your photo were all very sociable friendly bunch. Next time we'll have to get Hans away from the prestige guys It was a superb day, great weather and we all left the track with cars in tack.
  7. To level my garge floor I had packers under 3 of the 4 wheels. Both front wheels were packed and the packers moved free on the floor so no binding. But with my car being low I had to jack it up to adjust. If I do it again I think the solution would be to make 4 platforms for the wheels and car to sit on............. but I not sure if I can be bothered
  8. Should know around a 1/3 tank, fingers crossed Internets a wonderful thing I was hoping that keeping it in one place would make it easier to find and easier to keep track of updates. Glad you like what I've done much appreciated Mark

  12. You're right Sam seeing I'll most probably only use it a couple of times. But there are a couple of things I want to try out with my setup and seeing I'm replacing my tie rods why not I'll still be taking the car to the shop after to see how accurate my setup is.
  13. All I can say Dave is I'm glad they're not in Auckland, I wouldn't be able to resist.
  14. Same to you Glen and everyone else on BS
