  3. Standard M5 To be honest I am little worried that with fly wheel now at 7.9lbs that it maybe to light only time will tell
  4. You are correct Bearings and ARP Crank bolts
  5. Mine is the 3500 model, was looking at the 5000 but it's that much bigger M3 is within weight requirements , pickup points are not perfect but chatted with a guy in the US who uses the 3500 with his M3, he uses the front jacking points as his set out point and has had no problems. As it mentions the instructions are minimal I didn't "drain the air valve" will have to. The rest I worked out so not that hard I did use a review with pictures for reference From my testing with Minny Me (wouldn't test with my baby) seems every solid at full height Hasn't leaked yet Will be testing it out more this weekend including putting my car up
  6. I was checking out Bendpak and their QuickJack online contacted them for a agent in LA so I could ship through Main Freight. Bendpak contacted me to say they had just appointed a NZ agent. After pricing importing it myself I rang Sulco their quote was only $50 more so I ordered one. But I got caught the quote they gave didn't include GST. Don't quote me but I think the price will be around $2350 including They only brought two into the country, I got one the other went to a guy in the South Island. More are coming
  7. Update, my Christmas present arrived. As mentioned by M3AN earlier I add my updates to my first post just to keep it clean and easier to find
  8. Thats good to hear, so he's just being a slacker
  9. Hi Dave I had the balancing done in New Lynn by Balancing Specialties, I took advice from Josh. Thank God The engineer (Bob) said that it was a long way out, of balance. And would have done some damage if I'd just installed. So it's not 8.5lbs any more, now down to 7.9lbs. Totals UUC Stage 2 kit weight : Flywheel, P & C plate, bolts = 10.3Kgs or 22.7lbs Original old E36 M3 weight : Flywheel, P & C plate, bolts = 17.6Kgs or 38.8lbs
  10. Hi all I have been trying to contact Scott, I have PM and sent him a text. It's strange as I know what the younger gen are like, their phones are an extension of themselves Hope he's OK Cheers sweetm3 (Mark)
  11. In and completed as I've been told
  12. quote name="_Ethrty-Andy_" post="547216" timestamp="1411038273"]i dont see the point with 110, all that money spent with beurocrats, surely 120km/h would have been fine? i guess they are concerned about crap tyres and vehicles that arent safe at 100 let alone 1x0. My Bongo i used to have to daily would be very dodgy to do 100km/h, my Hiace now is much better, but takes a long time to come to a stop even when empty. a lot of variables i guess Sonny I remember when the speed limit was 60mph and my ford 10 loved it.(took a bit time to get there) You kids today are such pussies
  13. Not my rear calipers Hackar related yep, check my project, upload a photo soooo sexy shame it wont be seen
  14. Did mine two weeks ago Dave Had some of my next project arrive this morning
  15. A few years back, I popped a front fender. Took the car for repair. Got a call to say the repair had been done but while moving the car it had happened again. On meeting at the workshop I was shown the lip between the paint booth and workshop floor where it had happened. When I commented, no way someone had taken the car for a joy ride they flatly denied it. (K's were up) They only backed down when I bet them, that I would pay for all repairs + $1000 if they could repeat the damage. If they couldn't they would cover the repairs for free + $1000. This was a well know Glenfield panelbeaters, who work on a lot prestigious cars What can you do........ hate leaving my baby with someone I don't know
