    MY 320i E30

That looks fantastic! Question about the fronts. Any rubbing with the tyres or guard rolling etc? According to an offset calculator they sit 39mm out further that 15x7 et 24's and i wondered what issues you'd encountered with that? Cheers
  5. 38,383,800 x $1.20 = $46,060,560

Haters going to hate and everyone has their own bis(we are on a bmw forum) but engines like the F20C are pretty impressive. They put out more hp/l than the likes of an s54. I personally wouldn't want a Honda(bar potentially an s2000 or nsx) but I was at a track day recently and the integra's there were pretty impressive.

    WTB: Cheap e30

Given the scarcity of what i'm after in Chch, I'm prepared to travel if need be. Flights aren't that expensive so hit me up if you know of something of interest.

    WTB: Cheap e30

Looking for something cheap, and by that I mean sub 3k. Probably an e30 cause they are old and parts are relatively inexpensive but would consider something like a VW Golf. Want something that i'm not going to have to spend lots on to keep in WOF worthy. Matts one is pretty much what i'm looking for but its in Auckland: Don't care about auto or manual or engine size but im not going to pay 3k for a POS auto 318. 3k is the limit, for that id want something very tidy but would prefer to pay less. I'm going to be fussy and not just buy anything. I have seen most of the ones on TM. If you have something, know of something or find any news ones please let me know.
  13. So it wan't to do with car cleaning after all, that soap/sponge/clay bar is deceiving.

    MANHO

You realise his number is listed on the auction right?
  15. I also have one but am down in Chch unfortunately.
  16. Maybe www.grownups.co.nz 'NZ's 50+ Community' is more appropriate if your going to whinge about how things were back in your day.
  17. Congrats! Two years, two wins well done. The car looks amazing, despite the cell phone photos. Despite being very last minute I still think they look good but could look great. The tyres are way over sized, was thinking 195/45, 195/50 would be a better fit.
  18. Ok so the adapters get attached to the hub firstly. Is there any issue with this part being hub-centric or is it just the wheel that has to be hub-centric to the adapter? As the new wheels have a larger bore, i'm assuming i'll need hub-centric rings on them. I will ring a certifier and see what they say. Cheers

  20. I picked up a set of wheels that are 4x114 and am wanting to stick them on the e30 using adapters. Now firstly I know this requires a cert, which it will get but I want to know what adapters can and can't be used. Theres a lot of info out there and I wanted to get some clarity. For instance what is and isn't legal when it comes to adapters? Do they bolt onto the hub or wheel? Hubcenticity? etc etc... For example this: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-355720760.htm I get confused as to how they work, do you attach them to the wheel or the hub? Please explain how the work to a noob. Also e30 centre bore is 57.1, where as new wheels are 66 or 73 iirc, how do I address this? Cheers
  21. How expensive were they? rough estimate?
  22. I've used Elite(not for wheel repair but for other things) and they do a great job. I was quoted $120+gst to straighten a bent lip and remove the curbing from a 3 piece wheel the other week just to give you an idea. edit: the wheel was in pretty bad condition and I thought there was no was it could be fixed.
