I'd recommend clay baring it every so often to get all the crap that has stuck to the paint off, really makes a difference.

Anyone know where I can get a bodykit like that for my e30? Maybe Ray will have one. The only thing that looks vaguely e30ish about it is the stick on headlights. So badass

I haven't been into the central city, but driving through the 'burbs I saw quite a few collapsed chimneys and a few rooves. Both the chimneys in my flat have collapsed and glass everywhere.

I heard with all the new work done it shoots flames out the back.

I mentions its had a rebuild and a new head fitted(an 885), so one would think it would be in good condition, engine wise. With the 885 it wont be as economical as when it had the 200, but performance wise, should be alot better.

Turns out having the bolts re-plated would cost more than getting new bolts and nuts.

Even with a cert? I thought spacers/adapters etc were legal as long as they met the standards of a cert.

Ideal for adapters tho. Can 5x114.3 to 4x100 be done? @ 25mm would bring offset down to 22, enough to fit e30s

I'm not saying they should. I just think its unlikely they will however we will find out October 1st. Also the psychology of pricing means most prices end in .99, I don't see that changing. Which means in most circumstances, either the consumer pays more than the increase in GST or the business has a reduced margin.

An Apple 13" MacBook Pro, retails for $1999, has ever since the release. With the increase in GST to 15% that price would go up to $2043, do you think apple will do that? I wouldn't think it was likely. Little things, like goods in super markets of course will change, but bigger ticket items may be less likely to change.

Some people have a few quite drinks. Some people drink with the sole intention of getting smashed. They don't go out and 'suddenly' they're drunk as they didn't realise how much alcohol was in their drink. For some people, where they be teens or middle age, its what they enjoy doing. It's a mind set. It's peer pressure. It's the norm. It's a 'culture.' I'm not sure how to address the problem, but identifying the problem is key. The issue isn't limited to teens who tend to bear the brunt of the attention. As the statistics say 70% of 'problem' drinkers are over 25. Now where do you think teens learn it from? However being young(21) I first hand see 'binge' drinking on a regular basis and would be considered a part of the problem trying to be addressed. Raising the age, although I agree with it, isn't going to stop underage people getting alcohol. As i've got older, I do it less, but will continue to do it on occasion.

Your prices are gst exclusive though. Whereas in reality, nearly all retailers work on a gst inclusive basis, this is who it will affect. And then they'll decide how to incorporate that into their prices.

So a $5.99 product becomes $6.12? Unlikely.Either the cost is passed on to the consumer, or absorbed by the seller, or a combination of both.
