  1. Lowest structural point which is normally the chassis rail or steering rack/other suspension components. Exhaust, bodykits etc are exempt.
  2. 0.42-0.45 that was awesome, as was the rest of the video.
  3. Looks great. So it was $350+gst? Who was it and what % tints were they?

    ITB's

To be honest, with the m20 you have to spend quite alot of $$$ to get any real noticeable gains. Sure ITB's, ECU, Headwork, exhaust etc are going to give you gains, but for the $$$ they cost they just aren't worth it. From a starting point of an m20b20, the best upgrade would be a 2.5/2.7/2.8. Then spend $$$ on that. I personally think uprated suspension is the best place to spend $ in an e30.

Yes. You'd need to spend quite a bit to get a 2.0 to make similar power to an 2.7. Read this: http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....c=31811&hl=
  6. "AT&T has stated that they themselves will not unlock iPhones under any circumstances, regardless of the legality of doing so, even after customers are out of contract." So if it came from the USA, you'll need to jailbreak it and unlock it. This is a relatively easy process and as you said you have someone who can do it for you.
  7. Thats what I thought, plus I just managed to answer my own question by having a quick search. So therefore if you bring in an iPhone, not jail-breaking it because of voiding the warranty is invalid. Also, iirc AT&T refuse to do carrier unlocks, whereas other carriers, ie Vodafone may unlock it at a cost.
  8. Is an iPhone still available for warranty if its outside its country of purchase? ie Purchased in USA, can you bring it into Apple in NZ?
  9. My iPhone is jailbroken and unlocked and I just told iTunes to stop asking me to update "do not ask me this again" and have had no problems.
  10. While in e30 ownership starting at 17, i've been with AMI, State and NAC. Firstly AMI for one year, with excess ~1250 iirc. However at the end of the year the premiums went up about 30% so moved to State. Was there for two years. In that time had 2x claims. Were great both times. Excess was $1000. However again, at the end of the second year premiums went up 25% so moved to NAC, who insure me for ~$9k, 21y, full for the same as I was at State ~960pa. However this was all for a daily. If you do sub 5000km a year, go for a 'classic' type cover as i've heard they're a lot cheaper. $960 may seem like a lot, but it was the cheapest of the insurance companies who would insure me and cheaper that not having insurance
  11. I forgot they were closing tonight. $650 is pretty cheap I thought. Although spacers + cert put me off, and also the inability to add width.
  12. I don't really need them, its just a want thing.
  13. There are two sizes, 11.5mm and 8.3mm iirc. My original BBS RS's had 11.5mm valves so I bought these, but when I bought new lips, they had the smaller size. I should of just drilled the lips out but have already bought new 8.3mm ones. Its quite easy to tell the difference between the hole sizes. 11.5mm http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....st&p=359444 8.3mm http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....st&p=359645 Hope this helps
  14. For Sale are a set of 11.5mm BBS Valves. Never been used. Accidentally ordered the wrong size. Want $40, paid $55 odd I think
  15. Gosh those are nice. I hope someone on here snaps them up as they are one of the nicest bmw wheels.
  16. With some stretch and guard work It will. Any recommendations on tyre size? New regulations say a 215 will be needed on the front and 235 on the back, might make things difficult.

When people do a 5-lug swap on an e30, what is the new offset? eg An e30 with a 7" wheel, an offset of around 24p is ideal. Can anyone elaborate? Also what is ideal offset for e36 and e46? Cher
  19. I have the Koni adj shocks and H&R springs and have found them fantastic. The quality of both is great. I also use the GC rear shock mounts which have the ability to be adjusted in terms of stiffness. They also have a life-time guarantee for peace of mind. I haven't had the chance to take the car on the track so the shocks have spent most of there time on the softest setting. However if I was to head to the track, I can see the adjustability being very useful. I considered getting coil-overs but the hassle of having to get a Cert put me off. What sort of coil-overs would you be using?
  20. No, 'factory' basketweaves for e30's came in 14" and 15" only. There maybe replica weaves in larger sizes however.
  21. Where abouts in Chch is it Chris?
