Previous owner snapped mine off. Its amazing how much buyers get worked up about it! So I'm after a second hand one. Don't care what emblem it has, although I don't really want an ///m badged one if I have the choice. Doesn't need to be perfect. Number 1 here Cheers 0273545576

Yes I have searched BS and E30tech and google. My drivers side lights have issues. Car is an 1986 e30. Last weekend early morning my drivers side park light wasn't working (first click). Main light (2nd click) was not going either for the first 200metres, then I pulled over gave it a fiddle and it worked. Park light did not work for the rest of the day. Both high beams were working fine. Passenger side lights working right as rain. This morning the issue is the same. Only now, the main light thats did work after a bit will not work at all. Both side high beams still fine. Gave it another fiddle now - still not working. I started pulling the steering wheel off and dash apart and then it got dark. Please tell me what are the things are that could possibly be causing this and which alley I should go down first. My first thought was to pull the dash and check the switch. But I couldnt finish that. Could it be a fuse? (I don't know what that entails but I hear people saying "it was just the fuse" all the time lol). Or a bulb? Cheers

Just got someone to hold a flathead screwdriver in a tooth on the FW, poked in that hole where thew starter goes I think? That held it good. Anyway it was too easy I think all it really needed was to be left and looked at the next day.

m10b18 single piece flywheel not the dual mass type What can I use to hold the flyhweel gear so that I can undo the mounting bolts, short of the BMW specialist tool. I have tried holding one bolt with a wrench to hold it still while tugging at another with another wrench but I feel this can only be tightening the bolt being held which can't be good Hitn would be great cheers
