Fitted and tested shortie header at Hi Velocity. Was hopeing for more gains but ecu retarding timing when hot. Need to Re-mapp. Around 7 RWHP gain [Auto]. Heaps more throttle response and around 1Ltr/100km fuel gain. Will post Dyno sheets when scanned.

Hi Guys, been working on this for a while, has been difficult to design. Short Header to bolt direct to OEM front pipe. Top end power is around same as OEM manifold, but according to car owner part throttle and mid range power and torque gains are there. Currently re-designing runners for longer length. As pics show there is ample room for mods.

If ceramic paint was so good! Why are there not chilly bins coated in it? I have had many turbo Jappas, We are talking on this thread intercooled charge. You must insulate to reap benefits. Think air conditioning, all pipes are lagged or wrapped in insulation, why? to retain temperture.

He needs to retain cold air not hot air!

You need fibreglassed cloth with foil attached. This can be bought in sheets. You need to stop radiant heat from reaching your cool charge air. Cloth can be cut into strips wraped onto pipes then alli taped on. looks good works well. Foreman insulation.

Noticed a rumble sound from fan area. On investigating noticed play in fan bearing, also when shutting engine down noise continues until fan stops. Do I need new unit or can bearing be replaced? Thanks.
