this thing's like 40mm off the deck. only the exausht scrapes on _most_ judder bars and driveways and it doesn't bottom out any more than a standard escort whilst still retaining satisfactory handling for a road car. don't rag on me for how it looks either. It's that way for a certain look hardly on topic but shows it's all in the thinking beforehand. this was sorted for bugger all coin but has never been hassled by the cops. faily comfortable to ride in too. my daily's about 110mm off theground and a simlar wheelbase to a e32 7series. I clip the exhaust if I take the driveway at work wrong but it's a total bitch of a driveway anywho. 'tis sweet as for passenger carrying/towing and is comfortable as.

my views - 4x4's are fine. I hate seeing them used for a road car 100% of the time though. I've thrown up buying one myself a few times, but I'd rarely use the 4x4 option so ruled it out. Bro has a 4x4 'lux which sees use (not just omg need 4wd coz i'm in a paddock, it gets pretty heavy use) on a weekly basis... given that he works huge hours I think that this is very frequent..... people only crash them because they don't have the necessary skills in which to pedal them. bro's is rather high, and running big mud tyres etc which are all derogatory to handling in general. yet, making allowances for this it's actualy a reasonable performing vehicle on the road... keeps up with traffic very well and easily, just requires different techniques to a Car.... people need to harden the f**k up

replicas are poos. they're usually built with inferior quality

SKF Bearings carry Loctite 401 onthe shelf. I guess precision/saeco probably do too as they're all loctite stockists I think

badass, I was cruising round auckland both friday and saturday night, often in convoy with a bit of j-tin. badass weekend, got videoed, pxtd, pics taken, many compliments, and a couple of shitheads bowing down to me 'waynes world' stlye. crack up as didn't get any grief form the cops, even though I was blaring the godfather horms at every one I saw. only grief we got, which was actually hilarious, was some jumped up maori chick who thought we were undercover cops coz she heard the scanner which we had going for entertainment... my car is pretty low now too, it's legitly done by myself, and I never got grief at all... went through the checkpoint they had set up on the raod along by that mobil etc and only got stopped once to breath test me. if you're legit you wont get grief. I've been in my own cars the last two years and not got any hint of trouble. we were parked in the carpark which the following pics hows, and there was a 96ish merc with no springs (we knew coz the knob jockey yelled out at us "f**kin' no springs boe!!!" he drove off down the road, exhaust/chassis throwing sparks....2 minutes later he was ona tow truk.... how guys like that think that's even worth bothering to do is beyond me.... anyway, here's my sh*t. dunno if anyone saw me out or not http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/3420/p1...07mediumtf7.jpg

alot of it's down to the design of the exhaust manifolds, on the boxers. I've heard subarus, dubs, porsches even alfa romeo suds that have engine sounds that are poles apart. I enjoy the sound of volkswagen/porsches flat fours, the alfas, and some subarus. usually highly tuned subarus sound miles better than the stock "drainpipe" style, shithead modified examples which you've probably encountered around palmerston north (there's a guy whom I work with who's STi impreza sounds terrible) yank v8s often lack any form of mufflers and resonators. they sound like they're running half under water at low engine speeds. all the aforementioned engines sound best at full chat, I think that's a given of almost anything

maccin' burnout pics plz

that plastic cover in the lower valance which covers a hole. lots of euro stuff have them. my peugeot for one... and upon it's removal I picked up ALOT of extra cooling.... wouldn't b the case on one of these though I doubt. silver fox's latest race car had one. I noticed it was lying in my driveway the other day, in 3 pieces, and that it's missing on his pictures, must say they look better without them though...
