    E30 M3 wanted

Yep, sure do. Our cars arent quite twins, mines more like the older, uglier brother to gregs 530 since his is pretty tidy. But at least mines got a manual box and an LSD .

    E30 M3 wanted

That was Random Si, Maybe Greg has forgotten his M3 was born as a LHD?

    E30 M3 wanted

Why do you say LHD would be unsafe?? Because of the unfamiliar driving position maybe? Ive Driven LHD cars before and it does feel very wierd, but Im sure you would get comfortable with it after a while

    Wanna fight...

Is that a Rhetorical question Greg???

I agree Ollie, comes back to responsibility. If they learn at an early age that they can get away with it, then of course they are gonna keep doing it. If all you get is a "slap on the hand" its worth the effort, as they've probably gotten away with it 10 times before that and never got caught.
  7. I think Glenn was just warning people in general, not specifically talkin about M52/M54's. Personally I wouldnt risk it on any car fitted with a Catalyst. Theyre there for a reason and Ive seen plenty of cars have issues once theyve been removed.
  8. The Remus' mufflers aint cheap, we sell them at our dealership for Peugeots, and a single in/twin out for a 307/206 was about $900+gst. Like Glenn said, Give Woolfs a ring.
  9. HAHA not me on this one. Some Rangi as place up north, called (chur) Brothers Automotive. The more I look the more I see that they shouldve seen.
  10. ahhh, like floating on a cloud, I know the feeling. Took the 535 out Sunday night, first drive at night, and the headlight aim is WAAAAAY too low. Could only see about 15 meters in front of me so that was kinda dodgey. Needless to say I didnt go too far before I had to head home. Another thing to add on the "To Do List"
  11. Link cheap Hamman and ACS style rims. Theyre a pretty average replica copy but nice style all the same. Someone may be interested in them.
  12. +1 on the stiffness, makes it handle pretty well when you push it. IMO, I wouldnt want it that stiff for an everyday car, Im guessing thats why you got the couch (aka e34) as a daily Greg? From memory, it cost you about $20 to get your top hats machined didnt it?

I like it, looks super tough. But somethings not right with the shape that front kit. I Cant beleive they made it all out of sheet metal, its gotta add a few pounds to the weight of that thing.

    Lady GaGa

Thanks Simon, theres a mental image I didnt need
  15. He already has a TV show on here in NZ, The ITM Fishing Show, pretty sure thats been going for a year or two now. Getting a deal in The US would be a pretty big deal
  16. Welcome along. Plenty of helpful info and people on here, so make the most of it.
  17. Too true Simon, Greg and I both know a Cop from Napier, Who use to work with us, and still does on occasion, they take so much BS from the public when all they are doing is what theyre paid to do. After hearing a few of his stories about the crap hes been through and situations hes been in, IMO they dont get anywhere near the respect or $$$ that they deserve for the job that they do.
  18. Perhaps you had been "nice" to the cop who made the comment about your car in the past???
  19. Ifyou were being "nice" as you put it, usually means being difficult. Theyre only doing their job at the end of the day, and there was a genuine reason to pull you over. The cop shouldnt be commenting on your car the way he did, was probably trying to get under your skin.
  20. Couldnt help but notice the TargaNZ banner on the windscreen, I crewed for a guy from down south who had one of these in targa a few years back, who had the same MI16 conversion done, but running quad throttle bodies and a Link ecu, etc. Theyre suprisingly good handling cars for a FWD setup. I'll try and find a pic of it and post it up for you if you want.

    E30 325i Manual

""This car is not sacked, slammed,on hydroz or hydraulics or bagged. Nor is it a rota, rotary or an rx3 or a turbo skyline."" LOL, Awesome, cant stand people that put that stuff on there pages, nice work. Good luck with the sale BTW, cant see why it hasnt gone yet, well worth the asking price.
  22. Very nice work. Good ol' Kiwi enginuity strikes again
  23. Not like those Suzuki V6s ... an all day job and a about 2K in parts and labour. Be interesting to see what the M3 chains price up at.
