  1. Ive seen these Mega squirt ECUs being used on a few Mazdas with big sucesses. You can buy all the sensors/trigger wheels etc of the DIYAutotune website, but there would be a bit of fabrication work for you to do in terms of spacers/mountings etc for the sensors and trigger wheels.
  2. You forgot to mention the mortgage. That plus the wife and son is why I dont drive an M3.
  3. Yeah Im guilty of doin it as well. Had a Mate who had his car smashed up while parked on the side of the road. Some little girlie dropped her phone in the passangers foot well so she decided to lean down and pick it up. When she leaned over she pulled the steering wheel to the left and also managed to punch the gas pedal to the floor. Swiped the whole nose off his car and you could see the engine through from where the Left Front Guard used to be. He was just lucky that he wasnt in the car or it couldve been much, much worse. I guess we all know its wrong to do and we all know we shouldnt. Just my 2c
  4. Didnt you tighten one of those up a month or so ago to try and fix that knockin in the front suspension???
  5. These are hilarious..... Heres a few more for the collection.
  6. In terms of a WOF in NZ: "A Direction indicator lamp must emit a light that is substantially: a)White or Amber to the front b)Red or Amber to the rear c)Amber to the side. " Thats straight out of the LTSA WOF Vehicle Inspection Requirements Manual. So shes all good to have red rear lights.... let the tinting begin!!

  9. Yeah I saw it goin down Marine Parade the other day too. Looked pretty tidy from what I could see. It must be a local car cos I remember someone mentioned it when we were at Waimarama last weekend at the Hawkes Bay meet, not sure if it was you, Si.
  10. Funny you should mention AMG Badges, Today I saw a 1988 Mitsubishi Galant with an AMG emblem on the bootlid. Not sure if it was a badge or a sticker though.

I like it mate, shes a bit different to the normal conversions, but cool all the same. Did you have any issues getting the engine low enough in the engine bay to keep the inlet manifold and piping from hitting the bonnett?? Ive got a mate whos looking to do a similar conversion in his e30 coupe.
  12. Hey Quiksilver that sounds like a damn good idea. Ill bee keen to have a look when its posted cos Im sick of the slushbox in mine. Posts with pics are the best, makes it so much easier to understand some peoples descriptions. Lookin forward to it.
  13. Yeah Kingpin, they're polished. can get a complete chrome wheel also if your into that (bling bling). E30IS is right about the lip depth, maybe that pic is of a larger diameter wheel?? Ive seen these on a New Suzuki swift in a 17x7 and the lip is about 1.5inches.
  14. Yeah theyre a similar look to BBS style wheel, which look the shizzle in an e30
