  10. Keep looking at other peoples lists and remembering more, also had a Poo Brown Mannual VL Commodore, good for skids and not much else lol. When I sold it, the guy who brought it drove it right up onto the transport trailer and off the front, so the front chassis was bellied on the trailer. I had the cash so I ROFL'd and went back to work.

  12. ^ Yeah, not to mention unsafe, un-warrantable/illegal.
  13. Yep, would have to be a dedicated 2 seater, rear seats and seatbelts removed
  14. Heres a page from the WOF (VIRM). Looks like as long as its behind the most rearward seating position, all seats have head restraints and you cant hit your head in the bars it should be able to pass a WOF. (Implies it shouldnt need Certing) LVV7_7_2.pdf Heres a link to the LVVTA info ( hope it works) Read through and Im sure youd understand what I mean, but you would be fitting the cage into the "C Zone" of the vehicle, and the only requirement they have is that you should attempt to minimise occupant injury, Page 18- 2.5(1) LVVTA regulations Looks like it could be true, Id still talk to a certifier though, for peace of mind
  15. whoa thats not cool....makes you wonder what else is out there on our roads. Cant believe it passed compliance like that. Pics??

    E30 24V

Saw it too, looks so damn good. Gonna be sweet when shes 100% done. I know what the wheels are too.... but Ill bite my tongue....
  21. Interesting manifold design...... is it just one big open chamber??? Surely that would effect the flow/spool time somewhat, compared to a tubular style manifold? Nice thread though, Ill be keeping a keen eye on this one.
  22. ^ +1 on that. The new upgraded ones are Borg Warner valves
  23. Hey Tim, I work at the Peugeot dealership (for the past 8 years), and did my time on plenty of these pugs. Not uncommon for them to have such transmission problems on the AL4 transmissions. Most of the issues we have ever had with them are hydraulic pressure related. Usually there are two solenoid valves in the transmission which bleed off the line pressure and when the pressure gets too low, the transmission warning light comes on and trans will lock in 3rd gear (limp home/downgraded mode). Usually gets that massive clunk too. 99% of the time its those valves that need replacement, but we have had Hydraulic block failures as well. Valve replacements usually retail at about $1300-1400 incl. gst, but Hydraulic blocks can cost several thousand more. Check with them as to what the cause of the fault is, if it is the solenoid valves, Id get a second opinion/estimate
