Is Byzanz an M3 only colour? Such a sweet colour IMHO. Don’t beat yourself up Cam, id say yours is still better, that green is not that sporty, looks stealth though, id whack a 320i badge on it.

I love that colour interior, its buffalo isn’t it? Correct me if im wrong but the Vader sports seat were only available on couple were they not? Have never seen them in a Sedan or Convertible. That money for a car that most people will consider a 5k would not suit the possers.

Ours had all those features and I had no problem with it at all, nor would any of us, biggest problem I see is the operator, its easy to turn off the nav and set everything, maybe he is just to old to work it. Whenever he reviews a car he doesn't take in account that if you actually buy the car you will own it for more than a day, after a week all functions become second nature... How good does that V10 sound at 8,000rpm.

You should buy it then! Kms mean jack on a car of that vintage, parts all perish over time and at 100,000km it will still need or have had most of the parts replaced that of a 200,000km car.. still looks like a average spec Japanese import to me.

Well after two Saturdays working on the old girl I thought id go for a drive to Taupo to check out Powercruise....got as far as drury and the E30's water pump died... Steamy steamy. So I just learnt how to replace a diff, next weekend I'll learn how to do a water pump, its not a car its an education. Should have this sign in my Garage, sums up the amount of time my E30 spends driving.

The Alpina is biased on the 545i and is Supercharged.. Same straight line speed as an M5 but would be maimed on corners, different beast.

Awesome. Its got to be done once in a while, the once and a while gap gets bigger as you get older but when it happens its bigger and better every time.. the hangover is bigger and better also!

You mean E60. E60 for me, having owned an E60, even a lesser model, the tech in them is awesome little things that make it far far better than the E39, and thats before you add a 500bhp V10 to the mix They are all good though, shame we didnt get the 3.8 M5 here.

The E39 was regarded as hideous when it came out as was the E60, im convinced BMW's are so advanced that it takes a few years before they look good, this helps them age gracefully. Would love one, looks make up a small portion of why this car will be the best in class, again.

Spot on. I was offered one earlier in the year that never made it to market, sold for under 30k. Didnt have the money so I didnt even look at it so im unsure of details, it was NZ new though.

Get some braided lines and see how you get on, have has success with pedal feel improvement on cars before with this. I run EBC reds up front, Greens at the back with ELF dot 4, love the brakes, mine has a rear wheel bias and is a ton of fun.

Trying to remember but from what I can my 528i had an inlet into one muffler that had a u turn in it that went back out and around into the second outlet muffler, this was designed to keep noise at a minimum and create a larger travelling distance before exiting the system so yea, the car will run better with the stock rare mufflers.. either that or BMW are muppets and know nothing. A genuine Alpina kit is worth more than a 528i Maybe search E-Bay UK.
