Wont be cheap piss but he will be able to hook us with first one free with a discounted meal, its a bar called Plato and its bloody good value, have been there the last few trackdays for after drinks.

Well done Ray, good man doing good things. , I live by an RSA hence the 83 and driving comment, the things I have seen, or it should be the things they don't see or hear. Apologies if it offended anyone

That car is an import though. Nice colour combo. To find a NZ new sedan with a M-Kit and in manual is to find rocking horse sh*t.

Nice work. This one rules my face. Big smiles and dreams.

The Renault has I-Pod cable and control, the Beemer has a direct input I-Pod cable and the I-Pod simply docks with it and is controlled from the head deck. You can get a I-Pod cable that can splice directly into your aerial input. -
Vtec is a Taboo word around here mate. Whatever we say won’t do any good, no rape victims shouldn’t be covered by ACC as its not an accident it’s a crime, as you say that is what victim support is for. I'll be a very happy man if I can cut ties with ACC and pay a privet entity to cover me against income and health and accident insurance, I might even be able to claim flybuys.

Official power and torque figures have not been released but Biermann hints the output peaks at “around 580bhp and close to 400lb ftâ€. That’s up from 407bhp and 348lb ft with the standard M5. Stock car has 507hp, not 407hp They should have just left the plate off.

Already have, thanks for the heads up. Id say 75% the reason I am going is to see the sexige in action. Lol at saying you can’t come, you say you can’t come in every event, they need voluntaries though, you could come with me if I get a chance to go, will find us some free accommodation. Road tripin.

That’s an American site that is based on American cars and has factory claimed data, 0-100 in 6.5 is bullshit as shown above, an Automatic Sedan is much much slower. That site doesnt have any of my three cars on it

Im sure most of the Aucklander won’t go to Taupo anyway, a local bar is too far for most! Couldn’t see it as a problem.
-
Sweet. If there are spots available im in. My Brother manages a Bar down there, could ask what kind of deal he could do a big group of us. As for organising an event, just set a date and hype it up, if you book they will come.
-
Keen for a meet. Any spots available at Taupo race track?

Why so jaded Hybrid?? Ok, Wheels Magazine whose figures I trust as they are independent and accurate to what I have tested on my own cars at Meremere. 2001 330i SE 5 Speed Automatic. 0-100 in 8.1s 0-400m in 15.9s Power: 170kw Torque: 300nm Average Consumption: 10.5l/100km Weight: 1,520kg 2001 330ci 6 speed Manual 0-100 in 6.6s 0-400m in 14.8s Power: 170kw Torque: 300nm Average Consumption: 10.0l/100km Weight: 1,490kg 2002 330ci 5 Speed Automatic. 0-100 in 7.7s 0-400m in 15.6s Power: 170kw Torque: 300nm Average Consumption: 10.4l/100km Weight: 1,530kg 2004 330ci 6 Speed SMG. 0-100 in 6.4s 0-400m in 14.5s Power: 170kw Torque: 300nm Average Consumption: 10.1l/100km Weight: 1,495kg Shows the Auto’s are fat and quite a bit slower!

Sure, PM me and I'll take it for a drive and let you know how it performs, some twisty back roads would be nice. What year is it? They made the 330i for quite a few of them and they got faster and faster.

Most modern cars have brakes that last only 30 odd thousand kilometers, some a lot less, I have a friend who works at Porsche and he tells me the Cayenne Turbo chews through a set of front brakes in between services, so that 5k every six months ore so My Renaults an 06 and its on its third set of pads and second pair of Rotors, would pull up 10x quicker than my older cars though so its worth it.

Check out our forum sponsor mag&tyre direct for E30 Options, he has the best available in NZ.
-
Or IS300. TBH the M5 is a logical base, had you started with a lesser model it would most likely cost allot more and wouldn’t be as good. What other E39's have a beefed up diff with a limited slip unit, a 6-Speed box, beefed up sway bars, shocks and mounts the list goes on and on. I would still rather the V8 though.
-
I see an E30 in nearly every contemporary film I watch. Jim Cary drives one in Yes Man.

The Stig has been reviled, I hope this isn’t a publicity stunt like Schumacher. Im in for best Ginger Mo.

Someone has already mentioned a 316i engine conversion Glenn. Im guessing a steam or hot aired powered engine of some sort.
