I can’t wait for Hampton to open. Would be more than interested to hit it up one or twice a month in the Renault.

Another E30 M3 (Black) for sale in Christchurch
Apex replied to AN E30 Fan's topic in TradeMe discussions
Im not sure either Simon, it’s in the same boat as Nurburgring fanboys. Best E30 M3 I have seen was in RHD. Most of us will never own one anyways.. Its like critiquing the women in FHM magazine really. This Black one seems to be a fair price though Can add this one the 100 or so in NZ figure I apparently made up… -
Needs to be contast trimed like yours ot the M5 Bellicose.. would look ok.

Dyno-Day. Ran the old girl on the dyno to see how its mixtures were, it went really well considering the engine has been to the moon and back and is stock bar the Extractors. Bar the Ferrari 360-F1 Spider that was there, the old Touring was my favourite sounding car, was so nice on cam.

Update. Well, I decide to dyno the missus car as I felt it had a bit more power than factory, results show it indeed has 180kw, 15 up on what Renault claim, quite cool considering its standard. Have a Quaife LSD and some new Mintex brake pads to fit before next track day in a couple of weeks, the LSD job will take about three days. Big pictures Im thinking we might get the missus a new car so I can keep this and half cage it.

There was a P/FL 325i there with a intake and exhaust system and it come in 10kw short of mine so yea, they must work! M20 sounded great! Shame we cant do a Bimmersport dyno day.
-
stoked with my old girls power, 200,000+km and still got 100kw @tw! only 10 shy of the 328i go the mighty m20 was impressed with the poxy french car also, it has a lot more power than renault claim coming in at 157kwatw 100% stock. good day, wass good to see quite a few bmws there

Dragons are mean, way tougher than snakes. I can see how that interior could have looked bloody awesome given a bit more time and money. By far not the worst “custom†BMW I have seen.

On a side note and speaking of stitching, I can iron on badges for overalls, should do a run of various badges for peoples overalls. Just invested in the double sided heat adhesive that you apply to the back, unfortunately I had to buy 100m of the stuff, enough to last a lifetime! Let us know what people would be keen on. ///M BMW logo Some kind of E** logo??

Can I borrow that Hook for my Run? I don’t have one. Something I should invest in maybe. You should get more than that, Im hoping for those figures in my old girl, I would think a twin cam 2.8 on Torques Dyno will yield above 110, it’s a generous dyno.

E30’s popping up evrywhere! It’s a testament to their quality really, gotta be one of the longest lasting 80’s cars. Not sure if if due to their build quality or the fact people like them and keep them going.

Friday Birthday! Good sh*t. Out on the town tonight then?? Have a good one Lance.

Interesting project, good on ya for doing something completely different. There was a mint one these at a car show I recently attended, was 100% original n/a NZ new. Don’t they have about 200hp standard? An extra 150hp reliably will be an impressive feet.

30mm Front. 15-20mm back. Stance is where its at. I would try and get a pair of Eibach or H&R’s for the front. Maybe lower it 25-30mm.

It beats driving Hybrid to show you care..

No I love old cars, they have charm, I have two of them!! I have a problem with inappropriate use of lights. The E34 is classic, let it age gracefully, bling lights only blur and distract from how good the car looks
-
Those headlight almost fooled me into believing it was a car made this century, nothing makes a car look brand new like a set of crystal lights with glowing blue circles in them.
-
I thought you lived in Whitford Andrew, not Otara Heights Best not let my tenants see this, they will want a rent reduction! Good deal.
-
That’s a hot looking E36. I would say it’s worth $7-8k
-
Any semi modern BMW in manual is rare. Have you looked into bringing one in from the UK where they are plentiful? I have looked at this option a few times and if you get the car for a decent price and get a good freight deal It could work out about the same price as purchasing the car locally.
-
Nice bloody car. Does he want a mint Touring, will swap him

What would a average clutch in an average car last? I have had clutches only last 30,000km, would think 100,000km is reasonable, it’s a wearing part after all.

I don’t get, what’s happening here? You took an engine out of a car
