Nice car mate, have spotted it a few times before! Goes ok too from what iv seen Graham
-
Sounds hot mate. Produces good power at minimum RPM too
-
Cool, It’s a coupe.. For some reason it looked like a sedan in your sig picture! Looks like you need a knob Looking good!
-
Nice car digger! What turbo are you running? Would be if there wasn’t a big cooler hanging off the front! Paint it black and cover it with a M-tecII the front and it would be super stealth!
-
Lovely car mate, very nice indeed. How hard would it be to remove the Japanese licence plate holder on the boot lid? Would look a lot smoother without it.
-
Granted they don’t look as nice as the BBS but at half the price…
-
Ok im looking at a set of these (Work Equip 03) 15x8 front and 15x9 rear. I really wanted a set of BBS splits but at the price they are I really can’t justify it. I am modelling this wagon as inspiration.

Looks good, nice and clean in white! Love the wheels What does slab mean?? Take the springs out?
-
Cool, my neighbour had a silver 7 with that kit new. What makes this an S7?? It looks like a normal 7 series with wheels, exhausts and a kit.
-
Now that looks nice! Good work.
-
Is that your car mate?? I like it, especially the kit and colour Looks like the front skirt could use the cable tie treatment mine got! What’s up with the factory clips

Thanks Jared. I can’t find much info on this anywhere! Be warned, if anyone plans on fitting an aftermarket wheel that the Repco branded ones are of very poor quality and don’t come close to fitting correctly. PS; Main reason im fitting one is because the standard one is too low and sits on my legs when driving which is rather annoying.

I couldn’t find a topic on this using the search function so.. Hass anyone fitted a Momo steering wheel to their BMW (E30)? If so what boss kit did you use? After 4 hours I have decided the one I got from Repco is crap. The one I have is a HKB brand which came in a pink box and the ratshit instructions are unclear and written in Japanese. The wheel I have is a Momo race and all its instructions are in Italian.

Thanks for the comments guys. I was just going off the owners manual.. Would be keen to see that brochure at some stage?? Do BMW keep them in an archive?? I know Toyota keep brochures fore most models dating back to the 70’s. Im only looking for 150kw, I wonder if that is achievable using the 2.5 or 2.7.
-
I do plan on keeping them, I meant Momo wheel as in steering! The only wheels that would replace them would be BBS RS Split Rims, but that would be down the track as would rather spend the money on make here haul first. Im sure there is something wrong with the engine, the owners manual sagest It will hit 100 in 9.8 seconds buy it feels more like 20, I would best describe it as lethargic if that makes sense, I have an old Corolla with a 1.3 2E carburetted motor that would dick her in performance! ! Its leaking oil all over my drive also.. So I will need a 2.5/7 sooner than later.

Thanks Guys!! I love it, it’s so retro cool! I laugh my head off at Japanese wagons when im cruising in her, even if they can blow my doors of! Stock, I have just added two bolt on tip extensions, it needed the hole filled in so I guess they will do in the mean time. I have a few plans for this car but will reframe from asking stupid questions until I have exhausted myself researching the web! I had no idea how much of a cult following the E30 has nor did I realise the amount options available for them!

Here’s my new wagon. First thing I did was call Neville Bull at Dent Magician who did a marvellous job at removing a couple of shopping trolley dents. After 6 hours of hard work and half of the Meguiars range she come up like new, everyone that has seen it can’t believe it is the original paint job! I have had the windows tinted and added a Euro plate and pimp $28 repco remus also.. Im Looking forwarded to fitting a 2.5, LSD and new clutch lining in the New Year.
-
Good stuff, they are a great sounding engine! Cant wait to have a look!
-
Awesome! Jochen mentioned it would be a major job when I enquired about undertaking this on my Mums 46, he wasn’t joking! Well done, 10 points for effort.
-
Cooling issues, electronic issues.. pretty much everything that could go wrong went wrong, must have spent 20k on repairs.
-
If its powered buy there hot source I bet it goes hard!
-
Thanks guys! Yea, Subway was all good..not sure about the new chicken avocado Will be at the next meet for sure.
-
Picked the car up yesterday! What can I say, it’s a sensational car, im in love.. I can’t believe how well the E30 drives, so much fun. Will give her the full Meguiars treatment and get a couple of picks up soon.
-
Cheers guys. The torque steer isn’t bad once you get used to it, I don’t even notice it. She only really jerks around when flawed with Sport mode engaged or with all the driving aids turned off. I would be keen to line it up with a GTA, it runs mid to high 14’s so it would be close.
-
Sure did, not that there were any others for sale that I could find! It’s a bloody nice wagon for its age.
