  1. What a waste of a engine! A Caldina! Its a piece of sh*t. Screw sleepers, make it 100% hot.
  2. Somebody grounded my amp to the back of the rear seat (in boot) so its verticle. Not sure if this is ok though.

    Watermarks.

But if you let the men do the cleaning its never as good or not up to our standards, it ends up having to be cleaned twice wasting his time, when he could be either mowing the lawn or hanging out the washing.
  4. I cant believe how cool this thread is for reading. Everyone is basically unique in there fields. Might be using some of your services in future... B/S rates haha. Most of you will know im a self employed signwriter, Attract Signs, Waiting on a website for you all to check out, Ollie... hows it coming along? lol. I wonder if they had this thread on a honda or toyota site if the jobs would be similar. Your car can describe alot about yourself.
  5. Im sorry if I missed it somewhere but what E30 do you have there?
  6. Thought i'd give a feedback on Jareds work... Well its says its got a 3year workmanship warrenty, watching him do it I'd give him 10years - its that clean and tight. Very friendly Well done. Most importantly GREAT PRICE!!! Thanks again, Craig and Shelley
  7. I guess we just have to sit tight then huh. Hopefully if it does happen by that stage we will all have a 5% pay rise.
  8. Big difference between 15000km and 32000km.
  9. When I first put them on my car I drove to Taupo and raced a few times in a day, the tread started to get little balls of rubber forming on the edges and they handled very well, 20,000miles later and they are on the verge of replacement. So I think they are a very good allrounder.
  10. I use Eagle F1 215/45/17 on my bimmer I drive reasonably hard, cornering etc rural/state roads. and I too believe these tyres are great! Brilliant in the wet also, they are quite sticky and dont like loosing traction as often as other tyres I have tried. They last about 20,000miles. Have had to get puncture repairs at least every few months as im terrible for not looking out for nails/screws/debri on the road but they just keep on going and going and going. So for $1000 I think thats bloody good!
  11. HARSH. I hope the horn got some good use.
  12. Are you after some oversized pistons for M20/b25? 20thou over? PM me.
  13. Im not saying you dont know your sh*t but if that happened in NZ most insurance companies would go down, who in there right mind would pay that yearly. Maybe house/contents might rise but cars, I doubt it.
  14. Maybe Location has something to do with it, if you have it garaged and alarmed, what licence you hold, if there are lots of mods, if you have insured with them before, crash/claims history, but what they are asking from you is over the top. Try ringing again and getting somebody different as everyone has good days and bad days!

    Quick Questions

HI there, I cant find the old thread on idle problems. As now its my turn. Just restored the engine on my M325i, new everything. Took it down to hamilton and back for my first run in and found that when it got warm and I had to either stop to give way or for a traffic light it would stool on me, the revs would just drop. So Im trying to pin point this problem. I have bled the coolant properly, what else could cause this?
  19. you'll be lucky! Storage is expensive, working place even more so. Good luck:)
  20. Onroad Greenmount (East Tamaki) are really good, they have a liking for bmw's I think as they are always asking me about my car, no bullshit at all from them, maybe even a little bit too nice at times lol. So they are not all bad.
  21. Wow, 3hours is good going! I just did my block in black and ultra-sonic bathed my rocker cover and manifold woo hoo.
  22. I had same problem, I found that I had not relised I had a button next to my de-mister button along side the hazard button, this disables your electrics when pushed (I did not know this) so somebody pushed it again and they went. Following this my drivers side window decided to die, it was the switch that had blowen up, new switch with light - $75
  23. Funny that NZ has cheap Euro Cars then alot of other contries yet the parts sting us. Just spent $1700 on engine parts that could all fit into an E30 glovebox! Would have been $2150 if I hadnt have worn my short shorts, bimmersport T and a cheesy smile. Theres a tip for you.
  24. sell it for $4000 if it looks sweet, somebody will buy it.
  25. yeh. sounds like the right guy/car. so many people have tried to steal it and other cars/ tools belonging to him.
