I'm bidding on that kit (zwilling) as it's got to be better than having a stock no-kit
  3. What's the site link bravo???

    Wheel offset

I should say that my wheel offsets are 21 and my 205x15's fit in just nicely...although it accentuates a castor problem
  5. Personally I love mini's I've raced a mini seven around taupo twice and with 92hp in a completely stripped shell the damn thing was a rocket...shame about it being front wheel drive though, wouldn't have minded hoping into a mini super as they rock! Now if only they started using the new mini cooper turbos....

    Site Admin Query

BMW cannot be associated with this site for various reasons. Mega-meets spring to mind
  7. This car is badass, I want one! IMO, it could have a little more distinctiveness though, parts of it look like the VW Golf, the Peugot 206, and the Renault Clio, but I guess you're always going to get that when there's just so many models on the roads now.

    Advise on sale

Hey, my girlfriend needs to sell her Mazda MS-8. It's a NZ new 1996 2.5L V6 sedan, column shift auto, dark blue with not so immaculate exterior due to being owned by females. Anyone got ideas of what this is worth and what it would realistically fetch in auction?

    Conspiracy

It's quite possible that in the process of doing what they do they may have snapped a part of the seat belt male part...it's happened before...and they had to replace the two to fix it.

    LSD

Gus, you're a whore Us fortunate enough to own a 320 don't require a lsd, economy is the key :mosh:

    Dif difs

Changing from auto to manual should give you better economy straight up as you're not loosing torque to the auto box's torque converter during acceleration in the lower gears. The following info is with respect to E30 models, but I assume E36's to be similar: Not sure on the diff ratios with car models as they're different with the models and countries or origin. My 320iA had a 4.45, Tane's 320iA has a 4.27 (assuming from his rpm@100k), other common auto diffs are 4.11 Manual diffs for 325i and 320i are supposed to be 3.45 as they have different g/box ratios? (was in owners manual). I've seen a 323i come with 3.64 but there's also 3.73, 3.82, and 3.91 ratios available. The E30 M3 uses a 3.25, the 525ee uses a 2.91. The lowest ratio i've heard of (could be lower) is a 2.82. Diff's on Trademe can go from $50 to $200 for non-lsd. From a wreckers/$tealers you can expect to pay $300-400.

    Dif difs

Kinda I had a 4.45 diff in may car that made accelerating extremely fast, however, it meant changing the gears constantly and having no eceonomy or top end. Red lined in 5th at 205kph. I now have a 3.25 (which is a major change) which makes accelerating so god damn slow, but my economy is now 12km per litre. The theoretical top end is now 307kph, but due to the ratio it's bloody hard to accelerate up to that without a massive downhill slope. I'm about to stick in a 3.64, it should be a good mix between the two. You just need to find the diff that suits your driving style.
  15. And they say you learn something new everyday aye emma The whole point behind them is they look good :pimp:
  16. Martyn is right, but Emma is also right... Honesty box is what we need. My respects have been paid, Andy is a great man, pay the man

    LSD

Precisely, that the only way to work out what they're worth, personally I couldn't give a hoot about having one or not and I wouldn't spend $1000 on one, but I bet others would

    LSD

Tim is a whore. Matt, the only way you're going to get an E30 is if you somehow manage to beat the queue of people to a wrecked bimmer that has one, and are then prepared to pay exorbitant prices if the seller knows its worth. Your best bet is to source from overseas, ebay is a good start. Meh, just learn to drive your car without loss of traction, perhaps increase tyre width to 235s? EDIT: Keep an eye on Trademe for the off chance an LSD pops up, no seller in their right mind wouldn't auction off an LSD given that people will fight for one. If I had one for sale I wouldn't sell it to the first person here that puts their hand up, i'd sell it to the highest bidder and I wreckon in auction that could hit $1000 easy.

    320i

Having a photo will certainly help your cause, I also suggest you advertise on trademe, most ppl here already have a bimmer
  20. Bimmersport is a forum, a place for us to discuss bimmers and the occasional completely off-topic conversation. It also has the function to post the occasional naked arse photos Personally, the main return from this site is advice and heads up, i've managed to score several deals from other bs forum users and have attended several meetings, the most recent of which was tits Andy, did you get my $27.50 contribution from Evan?
  21. That'd be good. I replaced my front hoses last year, brakes are still a little mushy though and that's after service 2 from shellys bmw Don't want mushy brakes while doing intermarque!!!
  22. When di dyou guys organise that group buy??? I don't recall seeing that one around

    E30 Parts

The M20 block has only the one sized exhaust gasket for the B20 and B25 so I would assume the exhaust manifolds have the same dimensions.
  24. Grant, i'll be purchasing metal kings myself for road and intermarque this year...they've been given a good thumbs up by other e30 competitors for road, track, and targa :thumb: e: Glenn, you're a whore
