Also, don't remember seeing it anywhere, are you painting the inside of the barrels? or just giving a good clean? White barrels might make the Purp centers stand out more?? Maybe...

Once you have a few coats on and its dry can you put the centers up against the green machine? Would be interesting to see the colour contrast properly.
