$400 Europlates @ plates.co.nz All I can say is WHAT A RIPOFF!!! 400 big ones for an upgrade from standard general purpose plates to the same digits on a europlate? I suppose at least theyd technically be "legal" unlike the germanplates.com ones. But 400 bucks is still pretty extravagant for a bit of painted tin.

Ive noticed I can smell exhaust lately when im sitting in traffic etc. Theres a crack, well, more like a break id say, in my exhaust manifold thats been welded up at some point, and I have a feeling that the welds broken now too. Reweld it or just buy a new one? If itll be better to buy a new one, then Ill be looking to buy one in a couple weeks or so when I have some money, If anyone has a spare one for a 325. Thanks.

I just did some quick googling man, apparently refrigerant can cause frostbite etc if it comes in contact with your skin etc. So maybe just jab the pipes off with a stick, so youre well away from any gas that might still be in there?

I need to do this once Ive got me a bit of money, got a bit of a clunk in the rear end and its probably easier to just replace all the rubber etc back there at once

I dont know if its just me or not, but ip bans work for all of about 2 minutes, a simple router reset and I have a new ip. I dont know how many connections in NZ get static ips, but I think overseas people get stuck with the one ip. Im not totally sure though...

Are you actually able to buy grills for subs, I like to actually use my boot, and dont want anything ramming through the cone accidentally. At the moment I just have a ghetto as one, made from some auto mesh that was lying around and a coathanger. Its fairly strong though... I cant notice any difference, but does anyone reckon it would effect the sound having bits of wire right in front of the cone?

I took the wheel off right after I posted, had a look around and there was nothing I could see, I also loosened the handbrake a bit, and did a couple small drives with reversing out of my driveway etc and It wouldnt stop. Then I went to take it up to the mechanics, mainly just a bit worried that it would suddenly lock the wheel up when driving, and It stopped halfway there and I couldnt get it to come back. My handbrake still wont do much while driving, pulling it up you just feel a little bit of drag, Will probably have to do a full adjust at the wheels as well or something... So Id say (and hope) that it was just a stone as westy suggested...

Yesterday, tightened my handbrake up at the handle, and it was all good, then driving round today a horrible borrible grinding scraping noise has started coming from my rear right wheel whenever the car is moving forwards. It sounds like theres a big chunk of metal grinding around back there. Can anyone tell me from that what it could be? Im thinking its something to do with the handbrake system, the brake pads on the back are about 4-5 weeks old...

he just replied with a dyno sheet, I can only just make out that it says bmw 318is at the bottom... i wonder if its a fake dyno sheet? maybe he knows someone with a dyno or something... EDIT: Oh ok, i didnt realise someone already posted it. haha sorry EDIT AGAIN: Oh I see what cain means by did you just whip that up in excel. yeah it does look very excel, I havent seen many dyno sheets but that really doesnt look anything like the ones ive seen before...
