Just go to para rubber and get either an EVA skin, 2m x 1m for 10 bucks, or get some of the aluminium covered eva, looks badass, like 10 bucks a metre I think. Some old dude did an old merc and came back the next day to tell me how well it worked, just an idea. The eva skin resists 80 degree, and the aluminium one does 120

Does your title mean youre looking for a chrome bumper as well, or do you mean that the parts you want must og on a prefacelift e30 (Prefacelift = chrome, facelift = plastic). Just wondering because I have a chrome bumper for sale haha.
-
Man pickapart is expensive now got quite a suprise last time I went. Almost not worth crawling in the mud for your parts when some parts are getting close to wrecker prices. There was a big pile of stuff people had just been leaving when they heard the price haha.
-
bump, most is still here and i should reclaim garage space
-
for some reason thought Nardi Torino was just the full brand name, thats what ive been lead to believe anyway. Wouldnt suprise me if I was wrong though.
-
NAC, they knew i knew, as it had failed a wof the day before and i hadnt had time to sort it out obviously. I just told them straight up and they didnt even seem interested. the word "and?" was used i believe.
-
Hmmm off topic now, but my last e30 had run out of wof and rego and had failed on blown shocks, and someone plowed into the side of me and the insurance company were like eh, didnt cause the crash so we pay anyway. Just my personal experience, though i would tend to assume to be treated otherwise.

Ok, still got heaaaps of crap to get rid of out of my garage, offers are welcome Box of ABS parts, all the wiring loom, pump, computer, couple of sensors etc - 50ish Stock springs 325i - 10 45mm struts with blown shocks - 20 Auto driveshaft - 20 731 head- 50ish Chrome bumper front - 20 prefacelift ECU, get number later - 40 stock 325i exhaust system, twin all the way - 40 alpine white bootlid mintish paint - 60 door cards brown houndstooth decent condition - whatever shitloads of random sedan trim - decide when ask all sorts of random crap from engine bay, coils, afm, thermostat housings, pipes, wiring coming out of my ass - cheap. EDIT : added and removed stuff Can swap parts. I need prefacelift foglights that arent uber expensive, and have foglight blanks to swap with someone plus some cash their way if wanted, but if theyre gonna be close to 100 bucks its easier to buy brand new non bmw ones ~

If its still around in a few weeks ill probably be keen. (Poor uni student)
-
Hey, erm, might be a little off topic here, but is there any chance youve got a photo of the damage? my fronts have a groove inside them from when they were on a rolling body and the tie rod arms dropped and grooved it. WoF said nothing, even though thats obviously not saying a lot... Just wondering if my wheels are buggered or not.
-
Steering arm ball joint, the one on the end of the tie rod, right hand (Drivers) side. Preferable in palmy, dont want shipping to be much. Dont know what theyre worth second hand, but brand new is 60 so cant imagine too much haha. Cheers. EDIT: Appears that ive sorted it, cheers.

cheers mate, will tell him to take it to a mechanic for repairs instead of getting me to do it then haha
-
Hey, cant find anywhere if the m40b18 is interference or non interference, a mates head isnt turning over, so assuming cambelt is probably safe, but no idea if its collided or not. Cheers
-
DAMN i would be keen if i was gonna have the money anytime soon. will let you know if i end up randomly having some
-
damn im keen for a m40 turbo, or even just an m40 in my 318. damn m10s...
-
Cheers everyone, yeah josh good catch up, will be posting pics of it with new suspension, which will hopefully be in by the end of the week. 2.5 wont be going in as its buggered, knocking noises and lots of smoke haha. Will be leaving it as a baby 1.8 for now, will decide what I want to do engine wise later

So, got my second e30 after the first one was minged up, same colour, same year, less doors, less cc's ( ) Sat in a container for 6 years as someones unfinished rotor project, got it damn cheap too. I towed it back to mine with the trusty corolla which was stolen a few weeks later Lined up with the old car What I resurrected from the (semi) dead, with the help of a few parts in the boot and a few I bought Its now sitting on: Bilsteins + H&Rs in 51mm struts and disc rear end. 325i Swaybars front and rear Powerflex m3 offset control arm bushes Hartge Fibreglass front Cloth sport interior (Ripped ) Done nothing to it in the last month, got a motorbike instead... And finally got a new camera, so first attempts with it... ======================================================================== Ok, so apparently I havent even updated this within the last year haha. 13 months exactly to be exact. Nothing has happened much really. Cleaned it maybe 5 times, took it to a gravel autocross in dannevirke and bottomed it out a few times, snapped 2 alternator mounts and blew an alternator bush. stuffed the radiator full of putty because I didnt want to pay for a new one. All the good stuff really. About 3 months ago I found an e34 525i with a blown auto box...Got a (relatively) good price (for palmy) to take the engine, ancillaries, loom, ecu, basically anything I wanted from the engine bay etc. Ive been slowly amassing the other parts, and have finally bothered sorting it out. The engine is in there, mostly wired + plumbed, still need a couple parts though (looking for the Y shape tubular steel m5x manifolds if anyones got some?) Have had some (major problems): Snapped subframe bolt (extractor snapped off, engineer helicoiled it) Left rear half of driveshaft attached because I was lazy towing it to the engineer = new fuel tank. Lazy in general and lacking motivation. Went to bend heater core lines, lower one is apparently plastic and snapped it in half. Will just not have a heater until I can be bothered sorting it out.
-
HMmmm just had a proper look, the backs have been cut and bent to the same shape as stock springs, and they need about 3 rubber spacers i just pulled out of the old e30, but with three on the right and one on the left its legal height in the back and even, and the fronts are still below legal height, but will try grab some rubber strips from para rubber and spacer the front out to get legal height. still pretty dodge, and its a really solid ride haha...
-
Haha I have massively ultra low ones that I need to swap out for some higher ones, don't know if you'd want them though, sometimes will have the tire clip the guard if you go into driveway too fast haha. Can get a pic of car height later if you want
-
Yeah I really just want to get legal height lowering springs straight away and only have to pull it all apart once lol. The ones in it are so low the front wheels clip the guards going into driveways etc still haven't found any suitable second hand ones, may have to go new I guess
-
bump, still looking. Dont have to be ultra cheap haha, just legal and not brand new price i guess.
-
Haha, not keen on trying to force them on, Cheers for the offer though, will just have to wait till I see some come up
-
Yeah the plastic t joins always seem to arse out, I have replaced 2 now with just irrigation t joins from bunnings, they work all good.
-
Well got it done, 2 bolts on each side, one hole screwed up, one with a screw extractor in it. Just drilled out the bolts slightly then forced the normal bolts to self tap and its all good. Still have the weird thing with the fuel pump going on again if any electrics are turned on before engine start. guessing its just the fuel pump relay, as the relay is very very noisy. (Louder than pump by far)
-
yeah after the first one snapped i chucked some crc in the holes, then after the second one i soaked the bolts as well as the holes with penetrating oil, and still more snapped off. Guess the only thing i can do is engineer really, will call some on monday
