Um, I'm sure you've already considered this - but an authority card should cover FIA harnesses and FIA seat (not sure what the deal is with half cage/rollbar) So might save you $400+ on just certing a bucket seat? That said FIA seats are expensive but I'd rather spend $400 more on a nice seat than a cheap one + cert? Save the cert for when you have an M50 My 2c.

Oh bugger I guess a visit to BMW is in order then.

I'm retrofitting a tech1 kit (genuine) to a PFL coupe, I was wondering if the chrome bumper bits and associated trim were any different to a standard one? I think the endcaps are different if I'm not wrong. Have attempted to modify old endcaps to fit...but doesn't look right.. And I'm guessing I have to drill the lower side lip of the car to attach the sideskirts? Any other differences? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Don't forget the +10 amazing points for the slushbox Same result for me too No 325i for sale ?

Anyone else getting a trojan from that site? :S

I use this. Grab some ginger and smash it into a mug, add hot tea + honey (manuka works well) + lemon. Fixes me well - if you can handle the ginger Haven't ever seen you sick. Whatever you take must work

The problem would be with the anchorages rather than the seats because the seatbelt attachment is part of the rail! Otherwise any old racing seat+appropriate rail would do. Have seen prelude seats in a couple of E30's now. But not sure how they're attached.

Do bushes, and spend money on maintenance. There is a lot of power that can be lost if not maintained properly! And perhaps good shock/spring package with spare change That's what I'd do anyway. My car reflects my belief that the e30's strength is handling not power. My car has a standard motor, right down to the BMW paper air filter! Handling modifications are much better value for money than power modifications imho. If you're after more hp per $ I would suggest going for a Japanese car

The only convienient techII sideskirts I know of are the ones Boyd is/was selling. Should look pimp Matt! Looks like I'll be heading to a E36 rack sometime soon, you can try my looped one if you want? I don't really have any communication problems with it. Comparatively better than S13 I recently drove.

Ray is first, if he doesn't want it you can have it.

That's possibly the first thing I would do if I were looking for more power. Those headers and a remap have been dyno proven at 10hp+ throughout the rev range!

Try the Gelato place in Mission Bay. NOT Movenpick. It's down the road from Movenpick though.

Oh buggery, that's smack in the middle of my exams I could definitely use some help with driving! Any idea when you will know about the March and Taupo events? This is assuming caged cars -ie mine - are allowed? I will have a replica M325i? I hope you get the numbers for Feb though! -
any idea what my 2002 E46 could be worth?

I'd think that such an example would sell in the $12-13k bracket too! Especially if full service history + NZ new? -
I'm sure it fits a baby seat. Gah, I'm tempted..but I'd get in so much trouble for having another project car. Good luck with the sale Mike! Btw, were you planning on boosting the 2.0L m10 too?

Woah! That's cool! Haven't seen it before! I think a clear over that brown would make it darker and would mean I can get away with a darker cage (I like my shade of green). Either way, check out the GIANT boot spoiler on that car!
-
I wonder if the plate system would pick up stolen cars, etc? I guess it wouldn't be able to compare the plate/rego details to the vehicle it's on?
-
Yus! The car Apex posted was what I was after. I have appropriate wheels but I wonder how well brown would go with tech1. Also not sure how easily a metallic would be repaired for dings. Also lacking wagon coolness. Sigh, sometimes I should remember that mine's a race car. You sure you not going brown? It's pretty bad ass....Although that bright silver on your rocker cover would also be bad ass. That doesn't count. It's like a bad spray tan - orange j/ks I secretly think your car's choice as. But seriously, I think Byzanz would look terrible on an E30
-
Bastard, I wanted poo brown. Contrasts well with lime green. Paint yer wheel centres silly colours while you're at it.
-
Secrets out. I'm actually an 89 year old woman.
-
Yup, I did find them....I put them somewhere I would remember - which I can't remember lol. But I definitely have the keys somewhere, will let you know as soon as I find them.

Would that airbox require ditching the AFM? Alpha-N with associated sensors would cost a fair packet. Would sound awesome though
