  1. Hmm, price seemed to drop a little bit from the start.. was it a Dutch auction?
  2. Yeah Foxy, you could get one with all the cylinders in place for that price
  3. Yup, like that one, but preferrably for an iPhone 4, if anyone has one. Shame that one has sold.... that's what you get for hesitating and changing your mind....
  4. There is another Stephen Lawrence on Bimmersport, username of stevo, races in the Open Class. It was a joke fail suggesting that he had moved to Aussie.
  5. Oh, so it's for when people are being dumb-assess and trying to run engines in their driveway rather than in the car and it goes completely wrong. I thought it was just to be a pain for those people that want to store petrol in a safe manner that actually know what they are doing...
  6. A bit of a long shot, but does anyone have a snap-in phone adaptor plate that holds an Apple iPhone (prefer 4 but 3GS would also be a possibility - beggars can't be choosers)? It's for an E46 with the bluetooth option but I believe it is the same as most later models. Please let me know what you have available..
  7. P.s. Why have you moved to Aussie Stevo ? Name: Stephen lawrence Car: e34 M60 Car 2: e28 Car 3: e23 Is Foxy that bad a brother that you had to get away??
  8. If they don't specifically state they are for RHD I would leave alone, yes you could probably adjust the down pipes, or get replacements made, but then you are altering the design and may affect the performance of the headers.I take it you are looking to get a performance increase by fitting the headers, over the standard cast manifold? In which case I would suggest you look at Wayney's headers as they are equal length and tuned, these don't look equal length on the primary's and certainly not on the secondary pipes, which could have some interesting effects on how they flow.
  9. Can you hold on to them until the AGM Andy? I am keen as, just a bit of a trip for pick up !
  10. Nope, they are both quite different. Pretty sure an '87 is a later style, willl have a look in the shed for you.
  11. Early one or late one? There are a couple of varieties, the early chrome bumpers had a two part front valence and a different style lip, later ones had single piece valence. The way the lip fits on is totally different, and not easy to adapt without it looking totally hoary. I may have one of each in the spares bin...
  12. Buy an absolute shed load of cars, and then build another, bigger shed. After a couple of months I would probably own the most expensive (ie car with most money spent on it) couple of E30s in the country !
  13. I built my first computer from a kit - the Sinclair ZX80, bright blue keyboard and all. Missed out the ZX81 and went up to the Spectrum - which lasted me until my final year in Uni - ended up with full sized keyboard, microdrives and running a fan-fold printer off it for word processing !Lots of PC emulators around for the old machines to enable you to run the old classics - Jet Pac, Manic Miner, Jet-Set willy, Pac Man, Defender, etc. This is a nice touch to give the old skool feel to it as well.
  14. The inevitable result when the only people that actually buy music are aged between 8 and 12 years of age.
  15. Biggest swirl flap problem was in the M47TU20 engine as this had the smaller design of flaps. However, I think this engine was discontinued when the E46 finished, so no problem with the E90.Loads of info on the net - JFGI.
  16. Don't be sad about it, the 330i motorsport is still a VERY good car, and will be a big step up from your 323i. Unless you are a hard out track day enthusiast you probably wouldn't get to use M3s difference in performance on a regular basis anyways.
  17. Not trying to rain on your parade, but it will still only work with some of those models IF the OPTIONAL bluetooth set-up is wired into the car, definately the E46 and possibly others. Shame the iphone is so expensive to buy and run, or I would take this off you in a shot.
  18. Not sure on my favourite, but the motorcycle trailer made me chuckle. Also is that an E30 wrecked in the last pic?
  19. Can't work out how to put pictures into a PM, so putting them on here instead. These are the two parts i have: The downpipes are in pretty good condition, the section with the box in it is a little rusty but no obvious signs of holes, etc where it might blow. Not sure if this is what you need? Definately non-cat though !
  20. It does look like it is sitting a bit higher than I would expect on m-sport suspension. Just a thought - did you take the photo straight after you had put the wheels on? or had you taken it for a drive in-between? Sometimes the suspension sits a little high after the car is jacked up and dropped down and needs a little drive for it to settle back to it's normal height.
  21. Glad to see they got to you Ok, and my awesome packaging survived intact. Ignore the above posts, the new wheels look heaps better! I can see what you mean about the drop - are you running the M-sport suspension? Looks a lot higher than mine which is only the Msport. Wheels will look even better with the drop to emphasise the 18"!
  22. I have been a bit slack, and not had a look in the shed, will do so tonight and post up a picture of what I've got.
  23. I'm having a guess. Will the paint job be a muddy kind of colour to hide the dirt when it's been off the track?
