Ive changed my mind, bought Ae86, fully trick suspension and soft sports tyres. Goes around corners good. AE86 sounds like an AE86 and drives remarkably similar too one. I think a lot of the handling weirdness is down to stock cars tyres (comfort or whatever they call em) cos they is ass. It is officially the sh*t

The worst you could do would be too crack the paint, as it wont have the same expansion rate as the steel. You can get CRC freeze spray from a lot of electrical supply places. I tried to get ya vin from the tardme rego plate to put a link up, but they must have the wrong vin recorded as it comes up with an E28 ? Unless realoem doesnt work with safa assembled cars. Should be the last 7 digits of ya vin.

Engine and gearbox mounts turned up. E28/E24 M5/M6 Engine mounts 11811128932 & 11812225201 E21/E30 320/323 Gearbox mounts, aparently the stiffest of the lot. 23711175424 x2. Got hold of a Clio booster and check valve from http://www.rennojag.co.nz/ for $110+gst . Another wrecker wanted $350+gst (How 'bout nah!) Finding renault dismantlers is a biatch BTW.
