    Import Tax

Most chinese places do this without blinking an eye, dunno about the EU though.. Got a reply from strong-flex, Some weird $1000USD minimum order for no VAT, which makes no sense too me. Smells like something fishy going on, but theyre still good value for money. Hopefully they are good bushes too

    Import Tax

Im confused about strong-flex, They should only charge VAT within the EU, but they wanted a company number etc to not charge VAT too me, when they shouldnt do as its being exported out of the EU. They charged VAT on my order and im fairly confident they shouldnt be. If i did it again I would challenge them over it, I think there maybe some sorta language issue, the emails they sent me had lots of funky polish words - say Przejazdowa ten times fast... In terms of importing to NZ, stay below $400NZ dollars. It goes straight through customs and ends up at your door with no extra fees/delays/pissing around. Above $400NZ, they will charge GST and Duty and processing fees etc. I cant even remember the rates, best bet is too avoid it I cocked up an order to schmiedman last week, broke up a big order into chunks. One chunk was $522NZ charged to the CC (140 odd NZ shipping). Customs broker called me today and the duty owing is $150NZ to give you an idea. FWIW - Schmiedman didnt charge me VAT, so dunno how strong-flex can. Its all the same EU rules.

Could be done, Ive sent model planes bigger and heavier using fastway couriers before, they werent too steep price wise, be less than $50 at a guess.

    M6 info

Damn its cool though! Whats the story with the WOF? WOF expired 5 months 1 week 2 days ago on 26th May 2010. If my POS passed a wof last week, whats wrong with this weapon?
  7. Ultrasonic cleaning and testing, bank on around $20-50 an injector.
  8. Nicceeeee... I was perving over the kw site last night, wondering how much OT id have to pull Did you send your struts into them? If so how bad was P&P?
  9. Sounds like a stuck injector maybe? Check all the injector electrical plugs are on nice and tight Check for vacuum leaks. Still running rich at idle, id pull the injectors and get them professionally cleaned and flow checked. Gonna be a process of elimination... If its still running rich as at idle id start playing with electrickly trickery, AFM, 0x sensor etc.

    E30 M50 leftovers

A few bits up for grabs, open to offers on the lot, I have no where too store them. Engine can be seen/heard running for the next 3 weeks in the car, all the bits will be available to pick up end of November early December in Mt Eden. - M20B23 L-Jet 145xxx miles. Runs and sounds sweet, no valve train noise, starts first pop everytime. Was blowing smoke on engine braking and then accelerating, but a recent oil change seems to have fixed that. Wise man would change the thermostat, waterpump, cambelt before installing, as I have no record of when they were last done. It does not come with a flywheel or starter motor, but is otherwise complete with alternator/loom/mounts/dme etc. Engine possibly has an more agro cam than stock, but I cant confirm it as have never driven another B23, going from the words on the internets the UK M323's had higher lift/duration cams fitted, and the engine feels quite peaky too drive, compared to a normal 323 which aparently has a flatish power curve. It kept up with a mates GSR libero, and smoked a GT starlet for what its worth Cheapest bang for buck upgrade for a 318/320 around. $300 * Metal airbox, could use a paint - $30 * 3:23 Medium cased diff, whines a bit, lock it up and do skids, or rebuild with an LSD centre? - $50 * 323 Halfshafts (pair) - $50 * Stock e30 gearstick - $5 * 4 Spoke E30 steering wheel, good nick - $20 * 323 Radiator+expansion tank, average condition radiator but doesnt leak, tank is tidy - $30 * 323 exhaust twin pipe exaust, complete from manifold to rear muffler, no leaks (i know of at least!) - $40 * Front and rear sway bars, 20mm and 13.5mm, including NEW polyurethane bushes $150 * New Rear sway bar links (ordered in error) pair - $50 SOLD * Brake booster, could do with a lick of paint if your that way inclined. Take the lot for half a gorilla.

    Tyre Advice

Minor Hijack, but what am I looking at $ wise for two 215/45/17 Hero Milanza's ? Who stocks them? Wheels I bought had them on, i rate them pretty highly, shed loads better than other chinese tyres ive driven on, better than some of the name brands ive had. Problem is the car they came offs camber has chewed the inside down too a gnats cock to the canvas, gonna need some new ones. Ideally id like a wheel alignment and balance at the same time as fitting. Anyone know of anyone?
