Fibreglass Bodykits are sold in kit form, just add resin

I be liking the kiwibank a lot, their internet banking setup is very good, low fees, branches are everywhere and are open more hours than other banks. Ive never had anything but good experience with them, the rest of the big *cough*aussie*cough* banks feel kinda clinical too me, and kiwibank is refreshing by not being that way.

FRP = Fiber glass. Technically fiberglass is just the fibers, it becomes FRP when you add the matrix (epoxy resin etc), funnily enough they are made out of glass. in Carbon fiber, theyre carbon FRP is what everyone refers to as fiberglass.

2 weeks later - Bushes at the doorstep Look pretty good, diff mount has a couple of bubbles in it, but nothing troubling. Get a little tube of grease too I went for an 80Sha diff mount bush, and its noticeably softer to all the other 90Sha bushes. Still much harder than stock rubber ones though.

Happy birthday man.

One bad movie, a rough idea of what wasnt needed, a DME pin out and ETM, and the loom is rock and roll. I hope Wires up by the DME are road speed and check engine light, to be wired in somewhere under dash.

Sounds like a path too a headache man. individual throttle bodies arent gonna do naff all for power, it'll look and sound cool with trumpets. Your better off saving the thousands you will spend getting the RB26 throttles to work on something that will actually return some gains. Itll cost a bomb, will be a nightmare too setup, and without going for a nuts NA tune wont do jack shed when it comes to output.

Doh, forgot about the AFM I dont have EPA purge tank etc, so removing that plug is probably on the list too. Thanks for the help, tis appreciated. Got 90% of the engine back together today. Discovered I missed a few things. Ordered 12 exhaust studs, instead of 24 (WTF was I thinking..) , need to go find some sorter bolts for the E36 arms too the block. And somehow my crank pulley bolt and washer have gone AWOL. Changed the waterpump for a shmeidman high flow one, The old one came out with one disgusting looking corroded turd for an impeller. 80 degree thermostat installed too. Pulled all the injectors to be sent off for clean and flow check. Forgot to take a photo, but compared to the state it entered the workshop in its looking pretty mint, apart from the alternator which looks like its been used as a boat anchor its so corroded. Might look at finding a new/rebuilt one, or just a prettier example Fuct if I can work out how the E34 dipstick goes back in, must have to install it before the intake manifold One thing I havent read before about the swap is that the E36 mount arms interfere with the E34 intake manifold mounts. They must use one shorter intake mount on E36's. Nothing a grinder cant fix. Most M50 swaps seem to start with E36 engines though.

Anyone able to help identify these plugs on the E34 loom. Automatic box connectors? Cant really be off much else, wondering if both of them are (Round female plug and one of those sqaure ones that are all over the loom) And this one, small black rectangle up by the DME connector. Chur

Bump, And Ive found some other bits that I dont need. M50/52 thermostat housing gasket - New (obviously) - $10 New O rings etc for M50/52 oil filter (Big one, little one, and washer) - $5 E34 M50B25 engine mount arms - Free. Will swap the above for an M50B25 Crank pulley bolt, cos F'd if I know where Ive put mine...

http://www.schmiedmann.com/3_series/E30/Sp.../page1.htm#1786 Whole set of fix ya floppy stick bushes/parts for dirt cheap. Lots of bits for $30US! The worst thing about them is that all the parts bags are labelled in danish, so when ya order 30 odd Orings you need to go and work out what the hell you ordered at 2am in a bmw parts frenzy... Skumgummi = Foam

Chur, Id rather keep the diagnostic plug, for when I f*ck something up Any idea if all M50B25 DME's (Not TU's) have the same pin out?

^ Hell yes. Monaro is a good looking car. So's a basic commodore. HSV sticks a corvette drivetrain in them, with healthy dashes of Aussie-rice/tackyness. Gaudy as hell, and epically ugly.

Just cracked the gorilla mark in donations. Epic. I have two Mo gala Party tickets if anyone wants them, I wont be in town. You can have them for a donation Mo Platinum club FTW

New Question of the day. I want too thin out my E34 loom out, got a full set of M3 loom covers so need to ditch some excess wiring for it too all fit nicely. If I remove all the wiring from the loom associated to Aircon and auto trans (ie Pin 48, 64, 65, 85, 86 off the DME) so these all become open circuit will the DME still be happy? I cant find anything that requires a ground with A/C off, but without the wiring diagrams I cant be 100%. Has anyone done this? I successfully thinned out my X20 connector, once you remove all the BS its quite simple wiring wise on the fuse box side.

Yeh pity too part it out. Im interested in the GC's if you decide too, can possibly swap you my setup so your e30 still rolls. Ive still got some bits left too get for my M50 swap, if you want too part that out ill take some minor bits too. (driveshaft hoops, possibly the booster etc) Tardme it first, the world needs more 24V e30's, not less
