    Door rubbers.

tell me about it , a door swap for a e36 coupe .takes about 2-3hrs . every thing needs to be stripped out then put back in
  2. e34 535i and e32 735i use the same sump. and yes that will fit your e30. e23 735i , e28 535i and e24 635csi use a larger sump and will hit the cross member
  3. dont worry been there done that . spent lots of money/time on stupid old cars with small motors before . like hilman hunters , toyota corolla sr coupe ,etc etc . but have learnt a lot over the years , thats why i offer this advice , save yourself the grief , but hey a m42 engined e30 should be fun and a good learning curve . or maybe try a M44 1.9L has more torque (if i was going to do a e30 thats what i would use)
  4. got this 1995 320i coupe driving shell for sale . still got a very good engine low km 2L vanos m50 engine (130k) , 5 speed auto trans , diff , jamex lowered springs , sitting on 15" steel wheels . good brakes , no panels or glass . front struts , heater still works , alarm , tatty sport seats, air bags removed , helmet not included 0-100km/h in about 7sec offers around $1000 (worth more in parts) 021433600 was just going to strip it and sell off the bits , but thought someone here might want to do a conversion (upgrade) into there e36 318ti 316ti 318i 316i , e30 318i 320i , e28 520i 525e etc .
  5. no 3.8L 6speeds sold in nz . there are few import m5's from japan ,singapore and uk etc . few have sold on trade me recently from $12k to $20k etc including 2 that where built up from using a 520i 525i body with all the running gear from non compliant LHD m5 from japan
  6. i have a rack and bits etc .
  7. agree , just buy my e36 328i coupe only $4k
  8. just convert it to a manual . i have all the parts (from a e28 525e) except the gearbox it self , but they come up pretty often. or do a 2.5 or 2.7 engine swap while you are at it
  9. these guys rang me a while ago , they kept blowing the small 318i diffs . done on the cheap . i told them to upgrade it to the medium case diff and axles , but they where to tight
  10. yes but you will need to be a banker to afford to fix it all the time
  11. most 320ia have small case . some 320i manuals and SA models have medium case . all 325i have medium case but much lower ratio numbers like 3.64 and 3.73 etc it will be harder to find 4.11 and 4.45 in a medium case
  12. i have a fibre glass mtec kit . 021433600
  13. i like this one better.
  14. metal blades down the side to release the clamps . come around if you me to help cheers brent
  15. have all the bits . call if interested 021433600 pretty much drops in if you get all the bits from the donar e34 /e32 etc might even do a part trade with your old engine and gearbox etc . can use diff ratios from 3.25 to 3.91 medium or large case , depends on what you want to do with it. i agree the m50 is a nice engine , (in a smaller e36 or e30) but just doesn't have the torque to pull a e34 around at speed . my freind has a manual e34 525i m50 , its nice enough to drive , but the 535i manual pulls heaps stronger. i have pushed them around tracks and done drags with them , they go ok , but now its a e28 M5 (track day car)for me or maybe a e36 325i or 328i if you want a well sorted track car
  16. have all the bits . or maybe fit a supercharger to your m50
  17. i think that one came up for sale on trade me about year ago or so .
  18. just like my paddock basher i have now , 95 320i coupe . good engine trans etc , had sleight frontal damage , now its just a stripped out paddock car . great fun
  19. I have 540i lsd for sale if needed (shall i say wanted)
  20. might be air breather pipe form top of the tank to a carbon canistor mounted in the engine bay
  21. never tried but the seat rails are quite different . but i surpose you could make a adaptor plate
  22. shouldn't be a problem ,just easier if both cars have jatco trans so you dont have to swap looms around etc . just take teh new engine's loom complte and plug and play .are you looking at my one on TM . can view it if you like 021433600
  23. yes just need ecu ,afm engine loom etc . also what auto trans is it or is it a manual car?
  24. i bet its heaps better now . does the car feel lighter??
  25. i have a couple of options . a a very slim alpine eq with 2 pairs of rca outputs and 1 sub rca output to run off to amps . also have a blaupunkt unit which is a small 4 chanel amp and a remote eq unit on a stork (came from a e30 ) 021433600
