possible intake manfold cardboard is'nt sitting straight,but we get the idea. will fit baffels inside to keep air entering the runners as straigt as possible and not a swirling mess. 9L capacity. As for the dip stick???? finished result,and 100% happy checking clearance of wastegate turbo manifold final fitment intercooler fittment

yes will look into all these options , or maybe cut front of donar box off and weld new one too it so the spacing is the same .

thats right and no they later stuff doesn't use that . double check the mian ecu temp sensor is all good ,

anyone have opinions on whats good value and what sort of millage etc you can get on them . will be 225/50-16" or maybe i buy some 17" alloys then go 225/45-17 or so . will just be on a spare set of alloys i can use on track days etc . for my e28

engines about $3 to 4K plus lots of bits . cheaper to do a stroker M20 . or maybe a 2.8L M52

i have 4 good doors , bonnet , guards , boot lid with spoiler , sun roof panel . then you will only have to paint the roof and rear quarters . also have option of 540i front brake ducts(that fit to front bumper) , or getting another mtec front bumper from a local wrecker(grey colour)some pics of the donar panels

or do a 3L crank into your M20 engine do some head work ,cam , headers etc etc .thna you dont have to worry about modifying everthing

they are probably tuned a little different ( i can unplug the trans computer and the engine still feels and sounds fine). but will still work ok , can always get them reprogrammed by gavin bellar if you like . i will try the the custom work shop in drury to see if they will do it .

yes might look into that idea once i have the engine out of the donar car . engine will run on the standard 540i computer no problems, will get a adaptor bellhousing plate made like this guys one . http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-196605038.htm and have to make or buy a flywheel and clutch etc .

not to bad , not much worse than a 525i or 325i. pretty high geared . usees a good amount of torque to hold speed .

reccomend a 2.5L in a 325i etc , or if you what a 5 seires go for a 530i 535i or 540i , 2.5l are a bit gutless in a 5 series . i have a project 535i 5spd if interested . good mech, but body is rough , have replacement panels in same colour . about half your budget

ecu's are the same .
