i think the 540i have the fatter discs 28mm by 302mm 24mm for 525i 535i 530i etc 20mm for some 520i

brought this e36 gearbox kit . they said it was from a 96 325i (japanese car parts importers ) but i am not so sure . can anyone help out with part numbers . its a getrag box , where as most of the e36 ones i have seen are ZF type . so it might be a overdrive box(havn't checked it yet) the only part number i could find is the shift lever which come up as a 318i

EHHH!!!!! my books say 9:1 on the later e34 and e32 engines 211hp. e28,e24 and e23 ran 10:1 218hp . except for usa and oz which used the 8:1 for smog stuff 180hp

probably got sick of blowing up the weak mitsi engines and decided to get a decent engine

can do rear mtec rear bumper in black, i dont think they ever sold add on bits. cant help on the clutch bit sonly have a complete 5spd kit . try new ones . brake and clutch , or bm warehouse in hamilton good luck with the twin sunroof stuff . my mate has 2 tourings that all need the sunroofs sorting out .

na it was a freind of my mates doing the camera work (brave girl) yes had to change the front brake pads half way through the day and they didn't realy work to well after a few laps going 200km/h to 80 km/h in less than 100m ,so I decided just to go straight ahead rather than spin it around . do you mean those 500-600hp american coupes or the 911 race cars . yes mostly quick cars there that day . some days there is lots of race track fodder and some days you just get shown who's the boss. na they are my hands (after 2 hours of cleaning the grease off them) yes do come down , see how that 325td does eh!

hi . the e34 540i have gone up in value a little from a few months ago when the petrol prices where higher . there were few sold for around $4-6k . talking to guy the other day , they brought one for $4k , nice nz new etc selling was asking $6k they just made an offer and got it .
