the big one actual has a bi metal thermistor . which activates the cold start injector on pre face lift models only when engine is cold and in start position

thats because you are using a chasis number from a preface lift car instead of the face lift model where the engine ecu type came from.any way they look just like the other small one with 2 pins . have instock . in papakura 021433600

you need the newer temp sensor with 2 pins . old type only had one spade terminal

a guy i know brought that car a month or so ago for $1800 . then traded it for 2 e30's this guy had (worth about the same value).its a bit rough .rough rust repairs under the boot lip . bad paint in some parts small ding in bonnet (and might have since had a small crash on left side guard since this guy has owned it) . does have lsd and is a manual , but suspension is real tied . bad alignment etc did have bald tyres . seats tied etc ,gear lever slop ,engine ok from memory sth african model . the guy is dreaming now , he thinks he can get $2800

was Ex ray meadows (ex tauranga) car . had a ride in that around puke . now owned or selling on behalf by some guy could keith in tauranga .

check the servo brake system sounds like its sleigghtly on . or amybe brakes linkages not set up correctly and brakes are on a little . also if your calipers are faulty just replace them with the bigger e34 540i e32 740i set up . easy bolt on upgrade . have all the parts if needed

that big one is for a cold start injector(its a thermo time switch ,not a temp senor) . your face lift system doesn't need that any more . just put a std temp sensor in .

if the ac gas is low or leaked out then the compressor wont turn on .might be stuffed clutch or leaky air con panels inside or outside . i have bits if needed. cheers brent 021433600

the price you pay for having the engine all the way over the front wheels as just to make the back seat space and boot bigger. i'd rather have the engine set back and have a better weight distrubution

did the filter in my coupe made a huge difference . easy good , and filters are cheap enough

quite comon for the hydrolic lifters to get noisey . changing the oil can somtimes quieten them down a bit .(is it louder when first started?) otherwise i think you have to replace them . i have spares if needed. cheers brent
