Long term goal is a engine rebuild along with increasing displacement to 2.8 or greater, also a manifold overhaul, MAF, bored throttle body, and cold airbox, plus a set of wayne's headers. No budget really, as i will be completing the mods as funds/time progress

Hes quite a laid back driver in terms of style. He said its either a skyline, rx7, silvia or a 330ci, and i said the bmw isnt in the same league as the others at all. Id take a less powerful bmw over a riced out japa any day, and im just trying to convince him of that. Im thinking a tiptronic 330ci would suit him.

Thats good you got it off. I spent the best part of 6 hours removing all the bolts/nuts holding my previous diff in and iv still got the scars to show lol. Good luck with ur project

Duno how much space u got down but you could use a cheater bar (slip a bar over the wrench handle and apply force futher up the bar), thus creating more torque and less pain in your arm. Other than that you can try heating it up with a blowtorch (responsibly )

So true, iv got nothing but hate for the highway patrol. Iv had various tickets and all of them were from a highway patrol, when the law broken has been very marginal. Whereas when iv actually been breaking the law blatantly and been caught by an actual police officer, they've issued nothing but a warning.
