The uncle never uses it, he's done 3000km in 2 years and 2000km of that was last year when he tripped around the south island in it. It's immaculate bar kerbing on LF wheel, but spare wheel is mint so might change it over.

I've got this up home to sell for the uncle but after driving it yesterday I'm seriously considering it for ourselves. My 2 year old loves it with the roof down & I forgot about how great these engines sound, and even better so with the roof down. Hardly the time of year to have the roof down especially in Dunedin but for 3-4 months a year I'm sure it can be used!!?!?! It just got a WOF yesterday and just clicked over 53kms Because there's only one for sale in NZ atm, it's hard to price, so maybe someone here could have a guess?

We're about 300 meters above sea level here. I took the Mercedes down to the shop before and whilst the snow was a good foot deep on the road it handled it without issue but when I got to the main roads it was compacted and like a sheet of ice and was almost un-drivable even with it being 4WD - it just kept shifting power to every wheel trying to find grip and I have 4 new tyres. A mate of mine around the road has a Discovery 3 door lifted with massive mudgrips and even it was struggling on the ice. I loved it how my son walked up to one of our cars here with a small shovel trying to get the snow off the cars. Nice.

It's normally harder against the wall than that, by parking it right up the front gives me heaps more room behind it. I've never hit the wall yet, parking sensors FTW.

Needs the V12 ya rekon? Won't sound as nice as an 8 even if it's a baby. A good exhaust shop would get that up to scratch sound wise.

Yeah, 13k is a reasonable price but with the reserve at 11.5k that would be an even fairer price.

It is rare, but claiming just because it's the only one in red is a bit silly. I've spoken to BMW Dunedin, they say it is very rare and they give it a higher regard than a M325i for example. It pisses me off when these things come along and I've just spent alot of money on a new work car lastweek!
