Just checked it up : CL 500 5.0 L V8 225 kW (306 PS; 302 hp) 460 N·m (339 lb·ft) 6.3 seconds 250 km/h (155 mph) Not entirely bad, but I'd imagine it being pretty heavy yeah. The 460nm will push it along ok though, the CL 65 V12 bi-turbo comes out with 450kw and 1000nm lol The CL 500 would make a great tourer.

CL 500 What would be involved getting this on the road? Could be a cheap toy for someone, about 220kw?!?!
-
Awesome how he's cut into his airbag flashing to flush mount a clock from the 1870's & imagine trying to insure it! "Does the vehicle have any modifications?>>>?????!?!?!!!" I can only imagine the money that's gone into this project and can only imagine what I would have rather spent it on (Heineken) , that said each to their own, whatever makes your boat float.

I've seen these for sale at KMart for $55.23 - we have one but I hardly use it. Seriously, that's an awesome thing, I wonder if they could make me an M5 ?
-
So does this mean I can take the bottom of my airbox off to get the induction noise and drop it so low you couldn't fit a fart between the road and sump guard? Damn Chinese, they have a BMW X5/Prado called the ROFL aswell, ze German's weren't too happy!
-
All awesome ideas, I think the "this rash showed up... " is my favourite - roll with that?
-
Yeah it kinda does matter, it's quite terrible, the rear of the car looks quite bad especially I also like a tidy car.
-
Picked up this 02 Corolla for 6k as my runabout, 140kms slushbox with o/d button (ROFL - my 1857 horse & cart had a o/d button) - it's mint as inside but exterior require bonnet, front bumper and rear bumper to be resprayed. I've been quoted $800 to have this done - is that a fair price? Also, anyone here from Dunedin recommend a cheap painter? Cheers.
-
Newer BMW X5's have trailer stability management - I wouldn't be towing such a decent load in a car at speed that's for sure.
-
Take the car for a run, put a couple of dead fish underneath his seat strapped to the bottom of the seat, tell him you're interested in the car but you want your watch first.
-
It looks Russian! Kinda cool though if you could get it back to original? Say they are work 20 slides, you'd have to estimate what it's worth to do up and then double it.

Shrek's are average IMO - Yogi bear was the best I've seen thus far. Green Hornet was kinda good at the start but it kinda dragged on a bit after that. Action wise, it was a bit average. I'm yet to come across an establishment that supplies more than 20 3D Blu-Ray movies. Did I see a silver CLK 430 vert outside GumBoot Bowron on Sunday morning?
-
This - I managed to obtain one without subs - wasn't easy.

Anyone out there using 3D movies at home? So far I have : Yogi Bear 3D Piranha 3D Shrek 1,2,3,4 3D - came with the glasses Green Hornet 3D I have quite a few Blu-Ray disks but it's just not quite the same as a 3D one... Best movie I've seen so far (effects wise) is Yogi Bear hands down - because the movies aren't cheap, I was wondering if there was anyone that uses this forum could recommend a decent 3D movie.

I think that's long overdue. It would be up to the bidder to make sure that they have made sure they know weather or not it's kms or miles displayed.
-
This guy is a f**ken legend. Would love to see how much the listings have cost him - let alone how many genuine bidders he's annoyed.
-
The M57D30 is an older unit though, surely they made changes to the newer ones.
-
If thats the same engine as the X5 "M57TUD30" then they are a good engine. The dealer in Dunedin has an X5 with that engine and it's done 300kms from new without any engine issues. Only one example I know but I've heard similar stories on X5 outpost forums with huge mileages, mostly with gearbox & electrical issues but still healthy engines.

The auction wasn't due to expire until the 16th at any rate. Muppet much?
-
For some reason he's withdrawn the auction and then re-listed it. Totally lost interest in it now, bugger em - looks like the listed distance travelled was in miles anyway.
-
It's a hard movie to follow language wise, but well worth the watch. The rivalry on the track against Prost & Mansel e.t.c was epic, yet they all seem to have a massive respect for him especially seeing as he is the last one to die in F1 competition, a good thing especially seeing it was 16-17 years ago. I remember where I was when he died, it was an International moment - he had his anniversary a few months back.
-
Yeah, I've come across this bidder on several $1 reserve auctions. The leather thing is a downer, that said those seats are still quite nice. EDIT : Didn't realise it was a German import. Better than a Jap import? I'm gonna have a very small stab at it, auto-bid of well below what it's worth, but I think this car could be an absolute dream of a daily car.

Visit My Website Been a while since I've seen this combination - could be a good car for someone.
-
Oh bugger. Hopefully it's nothing major. Did you end up getting a warranty in the end? I had an awesome weekend, a trip to Kai to get a trailer load of coal, and spent 4 hours cleaning our three cars - very entertaining!
