  1. Funny how most fuel efficient / hybrid cars look ugly...
  2. Are you looking to purchase a system, or are looking to select a platform to build one? If you're purchasing already built system, I wouldn't worry too much about which platform its using, more important is how stable / mature the system is and how good is the support that the vendor can provide.
  3. Just read in the herald today that she's been arrested for stubbing out a cigarette on the face of a bar tender http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/1/story....jectid=10512685
  4. If you've got questions about .Net / SQL feel free to ask.. but I haven't used Jade. .Net / SQL seems to be in very high demand these days.
  5. Thanks for this. If I do take this off I probably will sell the towbar - otherwise I'll keep it in case I need it in the future. Let you know if I do
  6. I've got a removable towbar which I have taken off, but now I'm left with a hole which is part of the mounting frame, as you can see on the pics. Has anyone removed the whole frame before, and how hard / easy is it to do this? I guess I could take the rear bumper off and have a look, but thought I'd ask here first before I do anything. Cheers
  7. germanplates.com - I ordered standard German one - blue strip on left side with D and EU stars printed on it. Not sure where you can get NZ stickers.
  8. I made an order last night, should be here within 2 weeks
  9. Would be nice to have as a toy you can take to the track.

  11. I just got 4 new FK452s about a month ago... very happy with them.
  12. I work in IT as a solution developer - which covers everything from requirements analysis, design and development to system implementation - the full lifecycle:) No company car, don't really get out of the office during work hours (but do work from home sometimes).
  13. NZ Herald - Telecom broadband workers protest over pay http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/1/story....jectid=10510042
  14. I was involved in couple of crashes where idiots ran thru red light - once when I was driving and twice when my mates were driving. One time we were in mazda 121 and were very lucky, the idiot that went thru red could have killed us. Good one for putting a camera on Ponsonby Rd, this is in my opinion the worst road in the city, most people drive like they had their brain removed. They should have put one camera on every intersection on Ponsonby Rd.
  15. Tairua to Whitianga - Coromandel roads are lots of fun.
  16. Nice looking 330 Welcome aboard
  17. That is one good looking M3
  18. I left at around 12, and was back by 2:30... not too long, which makes it a good candidate for a nice sunday drive
  19. The other night I was watching one of Top Gear episodes where they went to Europe to try and find the ultimate driver's road. So the question is, what are your favourite roads? Somewhere where you can test your car in terms of acceleration (straights), braking, handling (nice selection of corners), and also has a nice scenery and not much traffic - not fun if you get stuck behind people that drive 70 in 100k zone. Today I went for a cruise to Helensville, then from there to Wellsford - good stretch of road, lots of corners and also some straights as well, and there was almost no traffic - had a clear road in front of me for most of the time. So it was fun Driving back from Wellsford to Akl wasn't as good tho.
  20. Sorted... took it to German Automotive on the Shore, diagnostics came up with one logged error - "Driver side front airbag igniter circuit - resistance too high". They've reset it and the warning light doesn't come up anymore.
