  1. Sure did, I was at Garrisons for the bimmersport meet, so why weren't you?
  2. Were you at Garrisons?
  3. I'm taking offence to your reference to Japanese imports Apex, if it weren't for Jap imports most of the members here would not be able to afford their beemers including the NZ new ones.
  4. Good one Glenn, BTW it was your cell phone number I entered.
  5. Sheeesh I had to go back and have a second look and you're right pink and white horizontal stripes. You're a dirtier old man than me $toffz to pick that out.
  6. For puting your blue teeth into.
  7. Now that is one badassed car. Pity about the spoiler, but I suppose it's necessary in a racing situation.
  8. I put 18" wheels on my E36 m/sport with 255x35 &225x40 tyres. I had to get the rear guards flared to prevent rubbing. Check out the pics of the car here. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=16985
  9. Definately a sh*tty outcome
  10. A Kiwi emigrates to Oz and opens up a petrol station. To increase its sales, he put up a sign saying, "Free $ex with Fill-Up." Soon a local, Bill, pulled in, filled his tank, and then asked for his free $ex. The Kiwi told him to pick a number from 1 to 10. If he guessed correctly, he would get his free $ex. Bill then guessed 8, and the Kiwi said, "You were close. The number was 7. Sorry, no $ex this time." A week later, Bill and his mate Bluey pulled in for a fill-up at the same station. Again Bill asked for his free $ex. Again he got the same story, and asked him to guess the correct number. Bill guessed 2 this time. Again the Kiwi said, "Sorry, it was 4. You were close, but no free $ex this time." As they were driving away, Bill said to his mate Bluey, "I think that game is rigged and he doesn't really give away free $ex." Bluey replied, "No it ain't Bill. It ain't rigged -- my missus won twice last week."
  11. The photos were taken when it first came from the panelbeaters, it has since been cleaned and polished and the body mouldings beeswaxed so they all are the same colour.
  12. Thanks Glenn, you'll see it in the flesh tomorrow.
  13. It is a good job. I can't thank Peter Groves, the panel beater, enough.
  14. That's how it came from the panelbeaters, it's in for a damned good coat of polish this afternoon. Thank god for fine weather.
  15. No mate, I don't really like the lids. Next project is a lip on the front bumper, get rid of the catalytic converter and replace with a straight pipe and a sports muffler with twin pipes.
  16. As some of you here will know, I had an accident in my car about a month ago. Well it's now back from the panel beaters and looking great. I took the opportunity to make a couple of changes while it was there, ie Angel Eyes, Eye Brows and colour coded the grill (a suggestion from Glenn) I would like to thank Peter Groves of Topline Auto Panel and Paint,Pukeiti Rd. Otahuhu. Peter is a BMW owner and was very sympathetic and helpful with the rebuild. I would recommend him to anyone in the Auckland area who needs work done on their car.
  17. I brought a set of eyebrows for my E36 from this site early this week Keep an eye out for whats being sold here and you might find some. Otherwise try this member 323e30 see his thread. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=16365
  18. I just love black E36 coupes. Tell us more about it, which model is it?
  19. This is a bit of a slap on the face after you pmed me today offering it to me for $1200.
  20. This thread reminds me of the story about the blonde whose car broke down, and when the mechanic had repaired it, she asked what the problem was. The mechanic said "sh*t in the carby" and the blonde replied, "how often do I need to do that?"
  21. The tow bar worries me, why would you put a tow bar on a high performance vehicle?
  22. Where are you based?
  23. The average NZ motorist does 15,000kms per year, according to LTNZ. so do the maths. As a car dealer, I get people in the yard who would not look at anything with more than 50,000kms on the clock yey I had a year 2000 Ford Falcon with over 400,000 kms and the guy who bought it believed that at those kms. it had only just been run in. As long as a vehicle has been well maintained and regularly serviced (service records to prove it) then kms should not be a concern.
