Sorry but no tyres on them. I do have a pair of 215 40 17 toyo tyres and also a pair of 225 45 17 altenzo tyres i can sell cheap with it. Thanks

Haha i highly doubt i about the 410 horses. 225 or whatever it is is plenty for me tbh. The car steering is heaps lighter than the e36. Its really easy to drive and the quicker steering rack is nice also.

it looks better in the photos that it actually is. front and rear bumpers have been resprayed but colour doesnt match and theres overspray etc but those are all minor things for me as I love the car and the colour. i have absolutely no intetion to change or sell this car for many many years so everythings going to be done.

So this is the new car that will be replacing my trusty e36 coupe. Clubsport E46 in Velvet Blue 2005 Some of you may recognise it, it was previously owned by a member before the guy I bought it from. It was for sale a year ago and I wanted it back then but couldnt, so when I saw it come up recently I knew I had to have it. Will update with plans and more photos once I actually get to drive it more, at the moment just sitting in the garage until I sell the E36. Some sneak pics of it after a quick wash the day I got it

pretty sure heaps of ppl just sandblast them for the cheapest and fastest option.. but causing tiny little pits is prbably why its the cheapest option.. we all know good things take time (mainland cheese advert)

Ah ha! I knew it was something slightly different. Looked estoril but could def tell that it was a bit darker.

i definitely put the last 7 digits of the vin and re-confirmed the manufacture date. anyway guess i gotta fork out some more money to upgrade to hydraulic kit. thanks for your feedback about the sushi appreciate it haha

so after ordering the parts, receiving them and trying to fit them today, i noticed after opening it all up that my car has a bloody mechanical tensioner not a hydraulic one and so i have a pulley for a hydraulic one which doesnt fit. Also found out after researching online that they dont sell pulleys only for the mechanical as its apparently a failing design and bmw will only sell you a complete unit (which im going to assume costs around $450nzd) after further research i found a few alternatives such as a Gates 38018 tensioner pulley which is only like 14usd but have read mixed reviews about it. also some stories about the bearings being made in china despite the pulley itself being sold as a made in germany part. anyway, my question is - should i 'upgrade' to the hydraulic tensioner unit? ive found 'kits' available online about $80usd for a INA branded one. ALSO why did REALOEMtell me that my car was a hydraulic tensioner? i only found out that it was mechanical after i actually decided to look inside.. i put in the exact manufacture date and everything correctly and it was the right build model.. i mean if my car had the older mechanical tensioner on the REALOEM page but after opening it up discovered it to be hydraulic i would have been less surprised as it means it was upgraded in the past. but it makes no sense the other way around... *note* this is NOT for the e36 edit: picture left is the pulley for a hydraulic unit and right is the one pulled from the car (mechanica)
