To those who got them put up some pics! -
Haha yea. Gotta be quick with this kind of price! Next is a fixie bike.. For reasons some may remember. Haha, but thinking about going back to a e36 coupe 328i or maybe a e46 330i wagon? Whatever comes up really, but will surely be another bmw. Not a huge fan of e90 or e92 but think the e91 wagon is alright, haven't decided on anything. Will see when the time comes, a bit sad that the car didn't go to a member but hey, can't be for everyone.

Think it's a great price. Would snap them up if I were to keep my car! I don't imagine them not selling soon. Such a good deal
-
It says "a BMW workshop" not "BMWorkshop" And it's a pretty average looking car the only "cool" thing about it seems to be that it's "stanced"
-
agreed, amber looks great! not sure how i feel about the blue fern plates but no biggie

A lot of people have had their plates confiscated and fined $200. It is illegal and you take full responsibility if you decide to put them on your car. If you read the original post, the plates are provided as "room decoration" or similar not as actual replacement plates as they are not nz standard issue. In saying that some people have got by for years unnoticed. So it's really your own call. -
No worries. I understand it's not easy to buy a car without seeing it so just let me know how I can help! Good luck with the 540i tho! Looks like a good one bar the price haha
-
Price drop to $9000!!! Someone take it before I change my mind please
-
Definitely looks like metric set. Seller: can u post up the size of the tyres? And maybe what car it came off. Should help to determine what's what
-
Seriously.. The colour of your e39 m5 is insane Dave. You must be one happy chap!
-
seeing as one can have a 540i for less than 10k (sometimes much less) it seems that this silver one is way overpriced in the current market, even if it is a tidy example. only fanatics will be willing to pay a huge premium on such a car for all the work thats done on it, but then where is the joy in that when you can get one a bit (a lot) cheaper, then spend your time and money and blood and sweat into doing the work yourself. (julian/jeffbebe comes to mind with his 540i )

I'm getting 600kms ish to a full tank of 55-60L of fuel which puts it at roughly 10km/L or 10L/100km straight 6 ftw
-
Bump! Just spent a whole weekend driving the car, mixture of a lot of city and highway driving got about 600-630kms to a full tank of BP ultimate 98 fuel.
-
No takers? $20? Or it's going in the bin...
-
Kill me for saying this but I think I would choose a nice msport 530i over a 540i.. Good balance of power and economy those m54b30 engines but then again I'm biased towards my m54 hehe But at the end of the day it's about what comes up that's good value for money. A 540i at a good price shouldn't be let up for sure
