Dealer Principal does...and so do all the guys who like to drop comments about "accidental scrapes, bumps, bumper removal" from them driving past. But GM is wicked, always comments and chats about it. But I guess that's because he's GM of JC also haha.

Stone chips be gone! Fresh Respray, so clean so nice! White fogs arrived today to go with white halos arriving next week.
  4. Sorry - I think you both misread where I was coming from. As sort of noted in the paragraph vaguely as was multitasking while typing - The Noted/Stamped idea goes with the idea of invoices. I can write my own service completion in there if I wanted too. Common sense prevails in this situation when buying a car and checking history..... What I was trying to get at is - a "FULL SERVICE HISTORY" is a full service history - no matter where you go, or who you used, if it's got that 'full' service history, you've then got the paperwork/stamp for the times it was due for each and every service without fail and the ideal proof it was done right (check that oil type...) If a car has a full dealer history, it's seen as a more positive note than a full history by back yard John, who works out of his home garage sort of deal, just how the world works to those who aren't AS clued up about service centres as others may be when buying a car. Eg: Car Serviced at BMW all it's life with full service history or Car has full service history through varied local mechanics. I know which sentence is seen to look better to the majority of those looking to buy. Even if you know your mechanic does a better job.
  5. I did my own Inspection II on a Saturday. But my old M3 didn't have a full service history (bonus having guidance of Ray around to help..) Because current now has a full service history with only dealers, I'll be going JC.. But for different reasons to you unfortunately (Staff Rate as work for company) To have a full service history doesn't mean only dealerships have done it, as long as it's noted, stamped etc you're good. My list would be JC (only due to full dealer history) otherwise I'd be going Ray HELLBM (it's seriously only 10 minutes from Albany) and then BM Workshop in Botany... Which is opposite ends of the country anyway. It's seems the only conclusive opinion that suits your question - just go Jerry's lol
  6. Sorry to hear man. Got a new set of tyres for X5 so would of been okay.. Might take the M3 down anyway

Thanks Mike, sounds like that will be the way to go come cleaning day! Yeah, looking for the small creases/cracks and dying it again.

    M TOY M3

Bit late to the party, but those seats look epic!! Love them man, nice as touch. Damn short syndrome, I wouldn't even be able to see over my dash if I didn't have my electric lifters... hahah.
  10. Haha well that's good to know I can drop the seats also, which is easy as.
  11. Nope doing a solo mission I'll take a tarp down just in case I need a buddy in the front.. And maybe a few layers of towels. Rims only or tyres and rims?
  12. I'm 100% going down. Just need to know if will fit in M3 as front tyre of X5 probably won't make it. Can pick up early arvo so be back in Auckland Sat Late Arvo, evening
  13. I'm heading to Tga on the 25th (Saturday) and can grab for you if I take X5 down - otherwise reckon they could fit in M3 with seats down? haha
  14. Dylan, guy is a genuine BMW enthusiast - owned the Estoril E46 M3, a couple of E30 M3's.. and now has that and the sick Family Audi wagon to tow the kids around. Genuine guy lol - stancemob sticker doesn't represent him at all hahah!
  15. Repairs by Ray and the HellBM team are top class. Minter than factory. Plus people forget engineers have to come and assess every car that is to be put on road, then compliance.. and the list of hoops to jump through goes on.. and on. Better than a dodgy job edging on the limit of a write off and being done by back yard Joe to just get it on the road.. and I know PLENTY of these crawling around. Nice car Ray, GLWS P.S Ant/Stooka is a pretty funny link up! Thought it was Antony too.
  16. Taylor Automotive do all the CCS Porshe/Audi, Auckland City BMW, JC BMW rebuilds. They may cost an arm and a leg, but they're good. Can't comment on 'best' as don't know everyone out there or have had any engines built haha! Just going off our main suppliers at SD. Ray/Kayne also?
  17. Good read, keen to see how it's all going

The last ones travelled over 40,000ks always on and still going today. I don't like the "in your face" look of the LED, doesn't look factory at all. CCFL have a nice light, colour and factory touch to them

I will be using Ray for it as the job he did on the Schnitzer was perfect, and so was my old M3. The plates are customised with Ray But I believe the ECS tuning brand are good

    MissBM V.2

Yeah reinforcing plates. Not sure what the current pricing is but I believe around the $1,000 mark.. Give or take. Most likely closer to $1200 I think.

Needs a bloody good detail - which hopefully if I make it into Speedshow will be getting by OCD (if they can fit me ) I need to just drive the damn thing! lol

I've been quiet.. sitting in the background.. thinking of things to do.. My list grows! But in the last week: - CCFL Angel Eyes ordered - 7500k Fogs ordered Seems my Vogtland springs aren't sitting captive, so need to sort this.. But she is hardly driven at present so keeps slipping the mind. But got some shots of her, she's still sitting semi-pretty Inspection II, Subframe are also on the to-do soon... Needing a lotto ticket as the list grows!

    MissBM V.2

Yeah I have removed it as decided will just be for photos/meets. Vinyl lettering is around $200+ so not worth it at all Happy to get my pen out and redo!
  24. Welcome - always wanted a 550i Wagon! BMW say the trans is sealed 'for life' but they estimate life as 100km. Can't be much harm in getting done.. My old Daily was at 270kms when she first had hers done
  25. MISS BM

    MissBM V.2

To be honest, given the opinions of many on how "horrid" and stupid tyre lettering looked, I didn't even think people would ask how I did it, once I had done it! Other forums, not this one - you're all a lovely bunch on here Grout pen worked okay.. Whether it lasts is another story. I shall update as time goes on
