Sorry, just had to discuss with FM is for sure. That would be awesome! Thanks

We do it at night when there is nothing better to do Plus that includes prepping it for every session - wash, dry, clay bar and polish. My car is beyond that point of just a little will doo.. So many scratches and swirls to get out.. And when you think about the prepping stages before every session, adds up

On that note, total time on Bonnet, Boot and half of roof is sitting around 10-12 hours

@Jason, the red one in Taupo is the sister to my one - less bling all round, and different rear end but essentially similar. Packs a 2.8 instead as well. For my personal home use, Mequiars is what I use, but for serious detailing, I head on over and get it done by Attention To Detail (Sam with Uforia) would rather do it with him, than doing it wrong. Was using the detailer/Quick wax to clear off any crap before meet, had just washed. Car had more chrome bling orginally.. Handles changed to blue as were chrome. I love my window trim

This thing is pretty awesome! Pleased to see you have joined up (finally!) haha. Look forward to more updates

Not much on the 'Project Front' but have got planned and Engine & Trans service soon.. She is running fantastically and just purring into everything I ask of her! Having loads of fun. Popping new lower control arm bushes in has improved the handling side by leaps and bounds. A rear speaker has gone, so will investigate wiring to fix that part up.. Here are some recent shots, and had some fun with mates testing location spot for the meet I held Even got my other plate out (it sits in waiting for the M3

On the hunt for a car for a family member.. Sadly, I am in Auckland, and most of the reasonably priced cars are elsewhere. Have found this one http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-730557977.htm Any body gone to have a look and can report back?? Friend test drove another one in Dunedin and it fried on the way back from test drive! Or if you are awesome and in Chch, can flck a box of Beers/Mavvys/Candian Club (or other) to anybody that wants to take it for a blast

Posting it here as not sure where it fit. I need to get a car scanned in Dunedin - are there any sponsors that are located Dunedin to do this? Or can members recommend and give approx price for it to be done down there? I did try using Dr Google with no luck. Thanks all..

Aww no! Bugger Try tyre shine from Mequiars (Grape smelling stuff) used it on my 540i when I did that mistake.

Everybody always asks me this/tells me this when I go to polish my car... Even the stores where I go forward and purchase clay bars, detailers, compounds must think I have no idea what I'm doing with the products and progress to tell me how (must be because I'm female LOL..) Yes, of course but the E46 Coupes hardly have trim anyway, just the washers on Bonnet and rubber seals near boot we masked Will seal up and do side panels/roof/bumper next.. Sooo many sets of passes D:

Sigh.. This was not the outcome I expected.. It was just for a good laugh.. Apologies to all.

Spent the later half of day Cut and Polish... Many hours later, and with the boot and Bonnet complete; results are amazing! Thanks to 'Attention to Detail' car services for the amazing product & detailing equipment to get my car looking top notch! Some photos... She is practically swirl free on the two places we did! Popped Masking tape and the second photo was result

Lots of places.. Bavarian Motors, Wairau, Bellas Motor Works, around constellation, Ray @ Hellbm, Silverdale.. Would recommended Hellbm as I go there regularly for my bmw, and top notch work and attitude.. Bellas I have had trouble with in the past, but varied opinions on all levels. Go for somewhere that looks at the car, not at your wallet

It looks fine here - maybe a little low.. But wouldn't be keen to take it swimming.. That's just me I guess, and the theory of a car that price doing that, I would be nervous (unless I won the lotto, of course)

Got some better, platinum coloured fogs from ECS, look heaps better and match Angel Eyes and Xenon. Next up, transmission service

Thumbs up for that one. We live in a era where anything can be answered with the simple click of a button, people are loosing the ability to communicate in person, or even pick up the phone. The internet becomes god, and those whose opinions will be valued due to extensive time and effort placed into their knowledge, are lost and replaced by this internet god (or by the squeaks who won't shut up) I must admit, I'm shocking and now can't fathom a life without tech!

Yep it has.. All wait, lemme just ask the brother.. He said: 1/2 Resonator Delete and Muffler Delete.

I've run out of cars on the front lawn haha.. Actually, the neighbours have a garage full of $50k plus toys.. Might go ask them to volunteer
