  1. Alex who came for a cruise with us yesterday, Cracked one rim, buckled the other on his E46 Wagon after we all hit a rough patch on S Highway 1 yesterday by Hampton.. Ryan (brother) buckled/warped an entire Audi Rim in Kumeu couple weeks ago - now pursuing that NZTA pay for the damage. My Car - Subframe is so badly cracked due to just my road, which has potholes from here to China, uneven surface, patches every 5m, and this is on the shore, 5 minutes out from Urbanness. Our roads are sh*t. Main motorways seem to be okay, but branch out and it's disgusting. Especially when I call up NZTA 20 times over to fix one pothole and a year later they still can't manage to do it....
  2. Haha what Ken said.. Manual 328 E46... Mmm just a little more fun. But yes it does need a short shifter as everyone who has driven it has said.. Good fun and a bit of a project.. Will start a log as have done a few things already with some more to come.
  3. And she ticked over to the big 250,000 today. Happy 1/4 Million girl.. Hopefully another 1/4 to go hahaha.
  4. From the original auction: "Came out of my BMW E46 were only in the car for one month as I brought adjustable suspension, need these gone Pick up on the north shore in Milford or will send them any where at buyers expense Leave your contact number if you would like to view or offer a buy now Lowering Springs BMW E46 e36 low lower" Q: 4 or 6 cyl vehicle A: Ah pretty sure was a 4 cylinder don't think there is any difference though. Conclusion, NO he did not state they were for 6 or 4. He said purely what they came out of. This is why I sent a mate to view for me, who sadly got it wrong. Now if you don't mind, I would appreciate if you could stop trolling my for sale post, I didn't make the mistake of purchasing these bloody springs, a mate did. He is a BS member if you would like more clarification or proof that it was an accidental purchase.
  5. Yes, separate sale. Aka we purchased them for A LOT more than $120 bucks. Same springs, but already sold to us.. Just out of trade me
  6. 4 Cylinder E46 Springs Was in the car for one month. Sadly I sent a mate to view and pick up if they were 6 Cylinder and they weren't but he bought them anyway.. Mint condition. Not sure on drop height, but would say 40mm. Alternatively prepared to swap for same quality springs for 6 Cylinder. $275 ono. Practically new.
  7. Nah just dipped into that M3 fund haha. Manual BMW with more power than the Schnitzel.. Can't go wrong really. Already booked in for some cosmetical changes.. Both my 'crew' will be heading down to The Big Chill on Sunday
  8. Not quite that special unfortunately.. This one sports a Euro kit of some sort - not motorsport, but not standard. It's interesting, then again, so are the South African's that built them
  9. I bought the Schnitzel a friend.. Welcome to the family "Myschf'
  10. Bought another BMW too add to the collection.. Officially BMW number 8
  11. Hands down Black. Switched mine over to black and looks awesome. Love it! Its already dark and night, never notice it
  12. Cars are becoming on that equal scale of power and pleasure - esp the Euros. I for one would look at all Euros in the given price range of the M4, but at the end of the day, It's the heartfelt commitment of that BMW badge that I would want to see on my bonnet every morning
  13. Step away from the Forums Earon. Come back when your head is screwed on straight
  14. No more grass trekking I got my keys confiscated after I did that one Haha!
  15. Everytime I watch this, I do have a laugh.. Wondering how hard you were on the brakes to avoid the gate.. or did ya two leave it open? Hahahah!
  16. Haha not an E46 M3.. Would go for that of course Sorry Suresh! Baha
  17. I guess Suresh also probably preferred the raw power of a 6 as well? This car is a beast, love it in all ways and would hand down purchase it over an M3
  18. Spotted in the drive... M5, M3, M3, Audi A6, ACS E46, 335i Sedan, 335i Coupe.. V8 commy hidden in garage... Mmmm. Tasteful! 3450 HP. 64 Cylinders. Total of 10 Cars... 335hp p/car average. HAHA. Not the Schnitzer though...
  19. I think an LSD is in place for the to do list....
  20. That's what they like you to think Generally wrong haha!
  21. Oh come on, when are we ever right?? I can vouch and say hardly..... Haha
  22. Here are the low res ones I have taken of it. Please to god be the right car (that would be awkward) Have a few close ups on the laptop, but it looked alright..
  23. Saw it at the meet - along with many others, and was overall impressed with the condition of it - even under the hood. Different views on mint I guess. Apologies to all. Must be in the wrong as I'm female. My view of it (which was recently must I add) may have been a cleaned up look, or maybe I didnt look close enough. Maybe being in the same boat where people slag off my ride I know how the guy feels - dissapointed None the less, I'm in error as my opinion is clearly off. Guts for the plane ticket, sorry it cost ya.
  24. I certainly wouldn't purchase a ticket anywhere without more photos/more cars to look at/someone in the vicinity looking over it first. Can understand why you're pissed off, but no need to slag off someone else's ride on a public forum - and maybe planning for a thorough trip is a good base in future.
  25. It won Best BMW at Automania (and there were some sick ass E46s, E30's etc etc) I don't think the guy would appreciate you slagging off his car ae? Seen it in person and thought it was sweet - E30's are what, like 100 years old now? What do you expect. Remind me to NEVER sell my car to BS member, if this is the attitude you guys have towards individual rides. Car sold anyway... So someone must of loved it enough to see past the old car gremlins.
