These were recommendations for a cheaper tyres
-
Yes Ferrari has P Zero. Travelled 18ks on them and 7 years old and still go (fairly) strong. However they need to be changed now, I've said past expiry lol. Yeah I've asked the team to check which P Zero they are, and they too have said Invos are hit and miss with all their clients. They won't supply unless requested. They have also suggests Toyo T1 and FK453 for something decently priced.
-
So in short, I can't go wrong with a set of P Zeros regardless of type? I got the quote the same time I asked for 599 tyres, and was told same type.. Anywho. $1830 incl for a set of 235 and 265 seem like a good deal to me. Now to justify spending that much on them hahaha
-
I had hoped PSS would be similar pricing. Waiting on one other place for a quote who does an excellent price as well. I asked for standard P Zero quote and that's the price they gave. Main differences between the Corsa, Rossa Nero? Isn't one for like extra load or weight or something? I haven't actually looked much into P Zero as was hoping PSS would be good deal lol.

I get tyres at cost plus a little bit through work. And Pirelli are the main supplier for us so better pricing.
-
So... Just got the quote for PSS. I'm going to miss them. About an arm and a leg. P Zero and Invos top of list for now.
-
Might be the oddball here but I certainly feel the differences between cheap vs mid vs high quality? Maybe I just test my cars well.. Take them around a few tight corners quickly, open them up etc.
-
For $300 a tyre I can get Invos. Just waiting back on price for PSS
-
Well given I'm looking at only a select few options, I doubt any of them would be land sails... It's between P Zero, Michelin PSS, Invos. Maybe: Eagle F1, RE003/2, N8000/SU1 I just need to spend a few days reading up
-
I've got a new S3 sedan lined up as a daily work car... Just waiting for the boss to approve Hahahahah M3 not a daily anywho, just get weekend drives - but long ones.
-
Probably not with the shocking exchange rate :/ but I'll have a look anyways, thanks!
-
That's more than P Zero.. For easier sizes. I'm looking at 235/35/19 & 265/30/19 $1800 for a set of P Zero $1400 for a set of Nitto Invos. PSS guaranteed to be in between?
-
For $1800 I can get a set of P Zeros - assuming PSS should be cheaper than this?? Lol Need to get a few quotes but no where is open until tomorrow at this stage.

Sorry won't be selling!

Hello everyone, long time no new topic Keen to figure out how many NZ New Topaz there are wandering the streets of NZ. I know of one other in Auckland which is ex-Japan owned by a friends friend (how it normally is) but other than haven't heard or seen of any others. The colour was discontinued mid 2003. Any help appreciated
-
Yeah it gets so tricky with everyone having opinions on every brand. Michelin PSS I've heard endless good things about - but the price is the big thing. Bridgestone are another option - I learnt how sh*t my tyres this weekend. GT Champiro - never heard of them before now. So many tyres
-
I'm preparing for new tyres to go on Front and Rear for when the wheels land (hopefully in Feb). I'ved used Eagle F1 and FK452 combo before and loved what it offered, but everyone is saying going for Mich Pilot Super Sports.. are there other recommendations? Nitto Invos are a nice easy price! But has anyone vouched for performance? P Zeros are out - they wear to quickly. Any suggestions welcome, rather have opinions from Kiwi drivers on Kiwi roads than those from forums in America/UK

I was personally referring to S65 and S85 engines of whom I know two of personally who have now gone and had SN oil before hand. But speaking to the Taylor Automotive guys, it's a pick up with the oil from sump.. Can't remember now. For the sake of $5 for me, I'm going to stick with TWS. Plus it gets delivered to work. Bonus service.
-
Well given I'm getting it the same price as Repco, I'll never complain
-
Colour and make up completely different. Got a bottle of both and chucked each in a cup. TWS noticeably green in colour vs a honey colour in the standard SN. Might also add those who I personally know that have used SN have had rods go and other issues. I'd stay clear.. For the sake of $10-$20 difference between the two, why the hell would anyone bother risking it? Keen to send away to lab and test both out scientifically.. But may be seen as taking it to far.. Hmm
-
BMW dealer. Did an oil test with both the stuff off the Repco shelf and the stuff from the dealer, very different. BMW have now partner up with shell, but I wouldn't recommend changing unless you've tested both oils as the same... Why risk anything? Jerry Clayton sell it

Pretty sure that was the work of art from my best buddie in the golf who locked the handbrake.. Idiot lol

Some more photos <3 P.s Legit the skid was not me

Will have a few befores. Haven't done many afters as haven't had the time. Excuse the dirty car.. But she's looking good. I like the ride and height. Overall would recommend

Wheels will arrive late Feb. Distance makes the heart grow fonder right? Egh On another note, team at HellBM did a nice job chucking the Vogtland springs in/ looks good, rides well. Win win!
