Bump for Bootlid pic. Freshly painted, +1 to Soverign Paint and Panel in Tawa, beside Dressmart for you Wellington guys, was just over a week, was $225 incl GST, and that was me doing the prep work down to virtually bare metal. Did a great job and the color match is pretty damn near perfect. Also voted against the R, didnt look right looked a bit tacky LOL Thanks. In other news, left rear caliper has decided to block itself as me and dad were trying to bleed, am going bananas with the compressor tonight to clear it out. Have had a dose of inspiration and may do this: except with a bonnet. Will get my bottles powdercoated gloss black with some toyo/yokohama semi slicks on it. Looks pretty BA, now to hit Mattzy up about how to attach a PFL Lip ohh I can hear the purists moaning as I type LOL. Till next time, Nathan

-
Stop being harsh and give it to Sammy J, you said 175 shipped, he got in first so he wins doesn't he?
-
I really like the look of that new 7.
-
What are the condition of the tyres like? I would see if an alignment makes any difference, control arm bushes would definitlely benefit also

Need to get a socket for a ratchet, many auto stores sell a spark plug socket, or you can get a specific spark plug removing tool. Are not very expensive from memory

Sick. Looking awesome. Subtle factory mods FTW. But yeah, definitely one of my favourite cars on here.

Replace the fuel filter would be something to do if it hasnt been done already anyway, are only about $12 from Repco etc Clean the air flow sensor with specific cleaner from Repco called CRC Mass Air Sensor Cleaner Check your air intake, throttle body hoses have no leaks, tears etc also Check ignition leads, and spark plugs for cleanliness That would be the first things I would check I am sure there is someone else on here with more qualified advice than me though haha

Yes. Also +1 for Jeff Gray, always scared of buying parts from a dealer, went in there with cash only, randomly didn't have my eftpos card on me. The total was a little more than I had on me, the salesman said not to worry, " I will just adjust the books". Have to be good guys on that respect.

The wheels in the opening post are just black steel wheels that usually have hubcaps on top. I also have a set of 4 bottlecaps all in good condtion with one that has been repainted to look brand new that I would get rid of also. Cheers

I brought one for my car from Jeff Gray, $75 including GST. Cried a little on the inside. Mine was for a different engine mind you. Edit: Mine was a heatshield version

I think the solution is to attract some more women to joining bimmersport.....
