Cheers gus, yeah think the box is on its way out soon. Will be something to look into for the future. Can just see it now, stealth as with its 316i badges on, m50 under the hood, schooling peeps. Haha

- Get/make a air box for a pod filter if you have one installed. - Replace suspension bushes, most 20 yr old cars by now have raped ones, made a huge difference on my car. Edit, just saw you mean't just looks. In that case, do the above anyway, but I can recommend shadowlining the chrome around the windows black, looks so much better There is tons more, just a couple I thought of straight up.

Ha yes. Love that boat anchor call, have read it from many knowledagble sources. Does my 240 fit up to a m50? nOOBzor alert. Like for real? Ideally want to build something like Luke (Boost Junky) is doing next.

LOL actually was thinking about supercharging it like those ones on youtube haha. Yeah thanks for your replies everyone, will give it a miss this time then will try and pick a motor (m50 etc) up so I can teach myself about it etc, rebuild it then transplant or just buy a better e30 when I get bored and go nuts

Thats idealy what I plan to do, just thought if I could snag it cheaply it may be worth it but yeah, risky.

So in between all my blood, sweat and tears from my project car not working properly See here: http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=17640 I came across this on trademe: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=206734621 My question to you is: Do I: 1. Take all the good/new shiny stuff off my maroon car and put it into this, so its a coupe, find a manual conversion etc and go bananas. 2. Take the motor out of the silver one, put it in my maroon car (since its a bloody tidy shell) and convert etc 3. Not bother and leave my car as is. Motor condish is questionable, but could part the car out enough to cover anything within reason and make my money back. How easy is it to change motors in regards to mounts etc? And with me not knowing the motor age i.e PFL, FL etc changing the ECU is going to be a pain. Advice is appreciated (Mods feel free to move wasn't sure exactly where to put this).

2 gauge amp cable through firewall?
Forrest replied to sin-drome's topic in Audio & In Car Entertainment
Its the long plastic cover that covers the wiring parallel to the windscreen. On the drivers side, there is a rubber bung near it on the lefthand side -
2 gauge amp cable through firewall?
Forrest replied to sin-drome's topic in Audio & In Car Entertainment
There is a rubber bung near the top of the firewall on the left hand side, on the engine bay side, underneath the long rectangle plastic cover that is parallel to the windscreen. Make a hole in that and it should go through. Then remember to gasket around the wires to keep it from leaking Hope that makes sense. -
Ha 50% good, cos only 50% of the car is there

Thought I better post some more car porn on my travels around the internetz No lies just about my fave e30 ive seen

Easy WRC in Finland

Same as the WRC, financial crisis is hitting hard. WRC is a bit of a joke to watch now, Fords and Citroens. Still F1 should be good to watch with re introduction of slicks, more driver aids deleted etc

Or was it more of a long throw shift?

As above, entire cluster and headlight switch with dimmer etc, preferably out of a e30 318i/316i facelift as they should be the same? Prefer pick up for the cluster in Wellington for obvious reasons, but let me know anyway. PM me or leave a post here. Thanks, Nathan
