Don't buy one of the anodised blue ones off trademe..they suck and barely work, and are they even legal for the series? Do it once do it right, grab a Z3 shifter, new plastic cup bush and the brass selector knuckle (the latter you can get from kerry at mosens on here).

Dunno about expertise, more like trial and error. Welcome Sam, I'm from Tawa, just sing out if you need a hand with anything, saw your car out driving the other day. Also have some blue leather recaro seats front and rear with matching door cards too if your interested, cheap cheap ha. Not in mint condition though, can do for closer to a third of what the trademe dude wants.

Last time I was at CPA in Petone they had them on the shelf. Circa 800 - 900 IIRC

HB bro! Hope you have a mean day and 21st, do a skid in one of your fleet Cheers from Nathan and the team at Redwood Hardcore Racing.

Depending on the style of idle control valve you have, you can buy new ones here: http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/smart/...%2D%39%31%29%20 for much less than 540.... or try cleaning it out with carb cleaner first, it's probably full of crap. Or just buy a good used one. As for the control arm bushes, as Glenn said around $200* paying some one else to do it is a more realistic figure, if the control arms need to be replaced also, over here in NZ you can buy entire new control arms with balljoints for around $125NZD each. Hope that helps.

^ Got a stress fracture in my shin so need the money to pay podiatrist/physio/biomechanic specialist bills for the next 3 months. Would rather run again soon than have the E30 looking sweet, crazy logic I know.

$750 Won't go any lower than this Cheers, Nathan

Bump, open to offers around my asking price on the lot, need this stuff gone.

Forgot to mention, I can arrange free shipping of the wheels and tyres to Auckland (only). Otherwise buyer will have to arrange and pay. Cheers

^ Cheers James, I'm a realist when it comes to E30 parts, they aren't worth that much anymore, I'd rather have a quick sale then have them sitting around collecting dust. Ninja edit: Go on buy them

E36's look like a German Nissan primera

In terms of bang for buck, IMO best thing is to make friends with a E30 race series driver and buy their Koni adjustiable shock + King Spring set up, no drama pissing around with certs and it all bolts in straight out of the box. Works great on the road with the added benefit of adjusting the rebound if you want to try a few track days etc. And it's not like the set up isn't proven to work brilliantly either, unlike BC whatevers or anything. My 2c.

To update this, I fixed this in my garage at home with no paid labour needed Massive thanks to Glenn for giving up his precious time to run me through on the phone how to fix it. All it needed was a $20 seal from pelican parts. Happy days. If anyone wants me to run through how to fix it if they encounter the same problem, feel free to PM. Cheers

As complete as possible please, in Wellington prefered, but beggars can't be choosers. Also looking for a set of 15 x 7 E30 Basketweaves (or BBS style) if anyone has any they want to part with. Thanks, Nathan
